About the rude office staff
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Buhler for 6 years now and I’m extremely particular as I also work in health care. I ask you all to realize that the staff work for SMH. My personal past experience having been an employee of SMH was underwhelming. Please do not base your experience with Dr Buhler because of unhappy office staff. SMH flunked Human Resources etiquette and evidently it continues. I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr Buhler she’s doing a great job with what she’s given for staff. 5 STARS from me.

I left in tears
I had been seeing her for 10 years and she was always so super nice and friendly til her assistant read my results wrong and misdiagnosed my problem. I called and complained and then her attitude with me totally changed as it got back to her. I continued to see her even though she was rude and short with me, big mistake let me tell you. Then in the last year I was chronically sick and was experiencing allergy problems and felt like death. I finally figured out the issue was that I was working in a place that was infested with black mold. I went to see her and she told me that black mold is not dangerous and told me to go back to work and take allergy medication for as long as I worked there. I was in tears as she wouldn’t help me, listen to me and was completely rude and mean towards me. She had no empathy towards me. I complained about incident and got no where. They don’t care about losing patients in the end. Her assistant Jenny is very short and condescending and is green.

Very nice
She’s very sweet and friendly. Unfortunately, I found her not to be the right dr if you are very ill. She’ll continue to prescribe different medication and tell you to call the Mayo Clinic instead of her trying to get you help. She’s not the right doctor if you are seriously sick.

Fabulous Doctor
My wife and I have been under the care of Doc Buhler for about 10 or more years now. Doc Buhler is very kind and caring and has always taken the initiative and immediately commenced action necessary to diagnose the cause of and treat our ailments, from colds to cancer.

She's very nice but never listens to your heart nor chest. She's not a hands on doctor. Instead she listens and types - She doesn't go the extra yard for a doctor.

She is truly amazing. I did not know doctors like this existed. I've never had a doctor take so much time to listen to me as she has. She never makes me feel rushed and does not mind answering my questions. She also has taken just as much time to try to make sure that I understand any instructions or medications that she prescribed. I've never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room. Her staff is just as friendly and easy-going as she is . I have been a patient for maybe a year when my husband passed away her and her staff have been truly amazingly Caring and supportive. I highly recommend Dr. Buhler.

I saw her a few times and decide to switch. I have a chronic illness. She really didn't get my condition at all and was adding inaccurate opinions to my statements. I forgot to ask for a refill on something and her office never called me back. I got a copy of my notes after I switched and saw she really didn't understand anything I had said to her. Don't like her and don't think she's very skilled.

I took my husband there several times . She is the most caring Dr. we have ever met. She always had time to talk to you and explain every detail. My husband had stage 4 cancer and she always treated him with respect and kindness. So now I am trying to get in to see her as a new patient.

Dr. Buhler is a very caring doctor. She is a good listener and makes sure we have the appropriate labs and referrals that we need. It amazes me that she can remember us with all the patients she sees. I recommended my mother and husband to her practice. We are all pleased with our care.

My son needed his medication changed and called to say he got dizzy and passed out on the high blood pressure medication subscribed. She said that the medication does not cause that. It is right under side affects on the internet. She refused to listen to him and would not see him for a change of medication. She does not listen to your needs and is not an asset to this practice as everyone else is good. I would give her no stars if I could.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Buhler for over 2 years and we both like her. Her nurse/assistant, however, is so abrupt and rude we're thinking of changing doctors.

Changing doctors late in life due to a move can be emotional, but in this case I was blessed in finding this doctor. She is very caring and works with you on any issues. I highly recommend her and look forward to being her patient down the road. It is important to feel secure in your relationships with any doctor so I know I made the right choice in making this change even though my relationship with my doctor in Kentucky exceeded 40 years and he was a wonderful man.

The biggest issue that I have had is getting the office to code my claims correctly. My insurance company says that I am fully covered, but I can't get the doctor's office to process the claims correctly. The office staff blames Dr. Buhler. Not sure who is to blame- except I am the one stuck with the bill. In several visits with Dr. Buhler, I never felt like she truly listened to my concerns, nor did she really seem to care about me personally.

Dr. Buhler at first seemed friendly but was unprofessional when speaking about previous Doctors that I had in another state. She questioned why I was on specific medicine that I had taken for years and the medication has helped me. She was arrogant and self centered. She seems like a doctor who would not work well with other doctors. How sad! Now my family is looking for another doctor who respects his/ her peers and listen better to the patient.

I'd give 10 stars if the scale went that high!! My first visit while locating a new Doctor for the family and I could not be happier!! Dr. Buhler is very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable with her profession. The staff were all very welcoming and the specialist referrals she suggested I see are equally fantastic. So glad I made this selection.
