Dr. Meghan Mehl, DO

After my OB had moved out of state they redirected all my appointments with Dr. Mehl. First appointment went okay but it was a downward spiral from there. I have history of PE and pre-eclampsia. My previous OB had me scheduled for induction at 37 weeks. She told me no that I was going at 39 weeks. Later on I started developing high blood pressure and protein in urine. My original ob put me on meds to regulate my blood pressure and I told her about it but she dismissed me. She just kept saying we'll keep an eye on it and never seemed concerned even though I was and so was triage. Well because I was continuously ignored I ended up having my child at 34 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia and she was on call but didn't deliver which is fine I get Doctors are busy with other moms but she didnt even follow up with me after my traumatic birth. I refused to ever see this doctor ever again. Very dismissive and doesn't take concerns into consideration.

Dr. Mehl preformed my tubial ligation via filshie clips a few years ago. I made an appointment for pelvic pain about a year after. I voiced concerns that I thought maybe my clips had migrated and were the cause of the pain. She told me that was uncommon and more than likely not the cause. She told me that she thought my issues were because of aging and advised me to take vitamins. I was 27 at the time. I took the vitamins she recommended routinely with no improvement. Many years go by and I found a doctor who took my pain seriously and I did infact have migrated clips. Dr. Mehl reported during my tubial ligation she only put 2 clips in (one on each tube). My new doctor recovered 4. 2 had migrated.

Dr. Mehl was one of many gynecologist that I saw during my pregnancy. However she was the first one that made me feel comfortable, and heard. My favorite thing about her is that she does not sugarcoat anything. She lets you know what to expect and what is expected of you. When you have a condition during pregnancy, sometimes you can feel like you’re in open waters. Dr. Mehl made sure I knew what was happening and what to expect every step of the way. When you’re pregnant, often times people don’t listen to what you have to say and chalk everything up to simply “pregnancy symptoms”. I never felt that way with Dr. Mehl. She helped me safely bring my daughter into this world and I couldn’t be more appreciative of her.

Extremely rude. Did not listen to my concerns. Told me I didn’t have a condition I was clinically diagnosed with by another expert simply because I didn’t have every single symptom of the disease. Was trying to inform her of a mental health condition I have prior to her choosing a new medication for me she interrupted me by saying “I don’t know what to say, we’ll just have to wait and see how it goes.” It felt like she had a grudge or bias against me and I had never even met her before. Horrible experience. Office staff was friendly, though.

Dr. Mehl is friendly and competent. She takes time to give reassurance and gives explanations of treatment and diagnosis. Plus the office and office staff in Green are nice!

DR. MEHL is by far my favorite Doctor. She takes time to answer questions and to get to know her patients. Great attitude and very professional.

Not very friendly, bad bedside manner, and not helpful! Will not be going back. Do not recommend!!

She understands why I have concerns and doesn't minimize or rush the answers to my questions. I get the sense that she is just as interested in my well being as I am for myself. She is comfortable to talk to and down to earth which puts me at ease.
