You will more than likely regret your decision to have cosmetic surgery performed by this “doctor.” Dr. Lacerna is kind and flattering before she collects your money but after surgery forget about it. I have severe scarring issues after she performed lipo on me. After countless times of following up and no return call, I reached out to a different surgeon(s) both of whom couldn’t believe a licensed professional performed surgery on me. She is sloppy, negligent and careless. Please do your research!

My experience with LA Plastic Surgery from my initial consultation through surgery was nothing but positive. I am of course really impressed with the Dr. Melinda Lacerna credentials initially; she is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and general surgeon. And, yet, after the surgery, I was most impressed with her skills, training, personalities, and artistic visions on the final amazing positive outcomes. From the very first phone call with Ashly to the consultation with Brianna, Pre-Op with Diana, follow up with Michelle, the office staff are knowledgeable, professional & welcoming. I have only one experience with LA Plastic Surgery and it is very disappointing. Last summer I had MOHS surgery. After six months I still have what looks like a very large blood vessel between the corner of my left eye and the bridge of my nose. Several family members and friends said I should go back and talk to the surgeon to see if anything could be done. I have tried unsuccessfully to talk to the surgeon. On Monday morning I went to the receptionist and she had a nurse meet with me. The nurse saw my scar, took a picture, said she would talk to the doctor, and I would get a call that night. Both the receptionist and the nurse were very nice but no one called. I called the next day and left a message but still no call back. I called again on Wednesday and talked to the nurse. The nurse again was very nice and said I would get a call that night. No call back again. I left another voicemail on Thursday. As you can guess by the rating still no callback as of Saturday.

I can’t say enough about the experience I had with Dr. Lacerna. Throughout the whole process, she was available for continual consultation, was compassionate, and totally made me feel at ease. Her facility, her Operating Room, her discretion, and her overall countenance are just very special. I was very specific as to what I wanted, and I am a perfectionist; Dr. Lacerna not only met, but exceeded my discerning expectations. I am now almost 4 months post op, and my body looks amazing, and I feel amazing. Thank you Dr. Lacerna, you are a great doctor, surgeon, and person !! Your Happy Patient, KIMBER !!

Went in for an “alignment “ and was in and out pretty quick! Very minimal scaring. Love those ladies! What a wonderful team!!

Dr. Lacerna is simply The Best! First, she is very skilled and knowledgeable using the latest techniques available. Everything was Thoroughly explained prior to surgery, which was very helpful for recovery. Several followup exams ensured that progress was progressing nicely. She has a very sophisticated Surgical facility as part of her office, which reduces overall cost. The staff is very efficient and impressed me with their initial preparations prior to surgery. The procedure went very smoothly and there was no pain, just swelling that subsided as expected. Best of all, is Dr. Lacerna's overall approach to her work and how she treats patients with respect and concern. I Highly Recommend Her.

Dr. Lacerna and her staff are very welcoming and professional. I am so happy with my Brazilian butt lift. I have had so many compliments and looks. I have had lipo a few times and have never received the results that dr. Lacerna has given me. I now have an awesome hour glass waist and nice round booty. I was in a lot of pain after and both she and her wonderful staff made sure I was taken care of. Thank you for my new look! I love it. Now I have the confidence I did not have before.

I've had many procedures done by Dr. Lacerna....neck and lower facelift, fat grafting to face, blepharoplasty (upper eyelids), tummy tuck, muscle repair, hernia repair, Renuvion to chin/upper neck area, liposuction, lip injections, and facial fillers. I consider her my plastic surgeon. The only one I need.

It was amazing!!! She did an absolutely wonderful job. My healing was quick and very successful. I have used her for several other procedures and have been extremely satisfied. I would recommend her to anyone that wants a great result with a great staff.

They are always welcoming and have gone above and beyond to make sure my needs are met every step of the way. Please review this woman's medical practice history. She has very recently harmed many people including myself. Do not gamble with your life. This is not gossip or rumors this is all facts that can be validated through the FL state medical board.

Do NOT go to this doctor, she is TERRIBLE! An ER doctors sutures were better, seriously! :-( Very sad, and very disappointed with this doctor.

There are not enough words to express how wonderful Dr Lacerna is. She is highly skilled, kind, warm, honest and caring. She is truly an artist when it comes to her work. Her compassion and concern for her patients is overwhelming. She goes above and beyond to satisfy her patients needs and requests. Dr. Lacerna performed my mommy makeover about a year and a half ago. She is such a caring and attentive doctor. She listened to all of my concerns and explained the entire process and procedure thoroughly. My procedures healed beautiful with no issues. I can’t say enough good things about her and her staff.

I had a tummy tuck on 2/26 from Dr Lacerna at her Sarasota office and the results are phenomenal. I am a mommy of 4 boys (all before age 28) and as a result of pregnancies my abs separated and she was able to repair them during my tummy tuck. Also, she went above and beyond by also liposuctioning my sides and back to really give me a great contour. I feel absolutely amazing and finally gained by confidence back! I would recommend her to all my family and friends!
