Dr. Melinda Marshall, MD

I saw Dr. Marshall after I reported bleeding during my pregnancy. With hardly any explanation, Dr. Marshall told me that my visibly moving unborn daughter was “unviable” and should be terminated within 48 hours. She wouldn’t provide a substantive explanation for why my baby could not die naturally and appeared angry for questioning her drastic recommendation. I paid thousands of dollars for a second opinion who confirmed that there was no indication that my child was unviable, let alone that I needed to terminate. The same out-of-network doctor then told me to stop taking the aspirin prescribed by Kaiser, something never mentioned by Dr. Marshall, and my bleeding dramatically slowed within 48 hours. The same baby Dr. Marshall declared “unviable” and was born on Easter, 2023 and is completely healthy.

she doesn’t care at all about her patients. she will arrive late, not listen to your concerns, scoff at you, roll her eyes, and give you the silent treatment during your appointment. her office is not a safe space. she is cold and rude.

Dr Marshall has been very attentive and very careful and thorough with her patients. She has provided care for me before and after surgery. She is an exceptional surgeon/physician.

Awful. Rude. Distracted. Arrogant. Lacks empathy.

She did not listen when I explained my symptoms I had to keep telling her the same thing over and over again. She was short and rude when I asked specific questions. She also said if I didn't use a specific drug (that has insane amount of side effects) no doctor would do my surgery. That was 4/17 I'm now scheduled for surgery 5/17 and my new doctor never once said I had to go on that drug first. So glad I listened to my gut, I'm with an amazing doctor now!
