Achilles tendon tear repair. Year 2000
I was patient of Dr. Gaffney,s in 2000 when she was practicing in Martins Ferry Ohio. I injured my Achilles tendon and I had gone to the hospital where they told me that it was fine and would heal. After several months and a trip to New York City it wasn’t fine. So while I was looking through the phone book I was very fortunate to come across Dr. Gaffney’s add and I called for an appointment Upon seeing this wonderful Doctor she knew right away that I needed medical attention which she faithfully did everything possible to help me. Ultimately (after casting,p t. Etc)deciding surgery was necessary. That was 24 years ago. I am still grateful for her every day. Terrific Doctor Terrific woman.
