I’ve been seeing Dr Young for about 10 years , all was good up until last month when I called to get my ultrasound results , the staff member said I had to come in to go over my results , I let her know that Dr Young has always called me with my results , then the staff member insisted I had to come in and gave me 2 dates that I couldn’t make ( I explained that I care for my 82 year old mom with Heath issues and my mother had doctors visits on the dates she said were available ) I said of course I will come in when I can but I just wanted to ask Dr Young a question that was in my report . Instead of Dr. Young returning my phone call I got a letter terminating me as a patient! Seriously? After 10 years! Not sure if this was a staff problem or the doctor just stopped caring about her patients! I am extremely disappointed!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Young for over 7 years now and she has been simply a godsend since the day I met her! I’ve seen previous endos that didn’t even know how to use my Omnipod insulin pump and would make me feel pretty uncomfortable. But Dr. Young is very friendly, informative and efficient, and helps with literally anything you need! She is also very quick to respond via the patient portal if I need help or have a question, and don’t hesitate to call the emergency line if need be after office hours. Staff is also super friendly, and quick to get things taken care of for you. I usually dread going to any doctor visit but for her visits I’m happy to attend!! Highly recommend!!!

She is an amazing person and doctor! She LISTENS and takes her time with you and genuinely cares about your well-being. I didn’t have that in my last endocrinologist so it is very important!! Less than 5 minute wait time and I trust her completely! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

Melissa Young was impatient and disrespectful to me at my recent visit. She doesn't take the take to LISTEN and communicate with her patients. I was transferred to her because she took over the previous doctor due to a geographical move. Melissa Young had the audacity to actually say in the midst of her refusal to hear my history that my old doctor is in Manchester and I can just go to her. I stopped her short in her nonsense and questioned her demeanor & that we cannot communicate without taking the time to listen; etc. Her demeanor was so off and unprofessional. She stared at me in a way that made me feel as though she was going to fight me! I've NEVER experienced such craziness in my entire LIFE. She continued her nonsense especially when I would ask questions regarding MY treatment plan. She ended up closing her computer and said she would give me a list of doctors! She actually agreed that she treats her patients this b/c she knows many drs are not taking new patients!

If I could put zero stars. Have you ever been yelled at by your doctor??? Melissa Young was impatient and disrespectful to me today. A patient of hers for more than 12 years since she was at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. When she left I took the longer drive to follow her to her new Freehold practice mainly because she has been following me for so long. She may know a lot, but kindness goes a long way. Not to mention her unpredictable, mood. You deserve better. We all do.

I have had nothing but excellent service from Dr. Young. She does not rush the appointment and gives me plenty of time to answer questions. I really like this Doc. It's a little tough to get a rescheduled appointment if you cancel. She appears to be very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family.
