Fabulous Surgeon!
Dr. Paulishak is easy to talk to and she really cares about her patients. I had a single mastectomy in November 2023, and she did an excellent job. I had a flat enclosure with a curved scar that healed well with no issues, and I am very happy with the result. Dr. Paulishak also listened well to my needs and concerns and was very supportive overall, including my choice to not use prescribed pain killers after surgery. I would highly recommend this surgeon because she is kind, good with patients, and very skilled in her field.

Personable, knowledgeable, and good surgeon
Being diagnosed with breast cancer is scary, and Dr Paulishak was very empathetic and put me right at ease. She is now at St Anthony’s hospital in Colorado. I spoke to the Director who recruited her and he said if his wife had breast cancer, he would send her to Dr Paulishak. My surgical outcomes were excellent. As a retired clinical researcher, I was very impressed at her state-of-the art knowledge and her ability to explain recent research in clear terms. I highly recommend her.

The after surgery, 6 month appointments, were VERY long. The wait times (2 appointments) were each nearly an hour each time. No one came into the room to say that Dr Paulishak was running behind. I believe that she’s very overly scheduled. I think that with at least one of the times I was “forgotten”, until I stuck my head out of the room & asked what was going on. As a surgeon I trust her skill, but I may find another doctor.

I hated the idea of being mutilated by having a mastectomy, but having Dr. Paulishak as a surgeon made the trauma a bit more bearable. I felt as a female surgeon, she wouldn't treat my body like a piece of meat gone bad...and she didn't. I have a scar, of course, but I don't look butchered.
