A terrible doctor in all ways.
I can't imagine a worse doctor. He doesn't know much medicine, he knows nothing about how to approach medical problems, and he has no concern for his patients. I went to him with a dry cough and low-grade fever. With no evidence that it was a bacterial infection, he prescribed antibiotics. He had no plan B. When I continued to get worse, I contacted a pulmonologist who would not make an appointment with me until I had a referral from Dr. Butler. Dr. Butler refused to make a referral until I had an appointment. When I told him that wouldn't work, he fired me as a patient. Since I could not get an appointment with another primary care physician for months, that should have meant I had had no available medical care at a time when I needed it. Fortunately, my cardiologist agreed to act as my PCP. He diagnosed and treated me for a large pulmonary embolism and lung infarction. Without his help, I probably would have died.

Dr Butler has been my primary doctor for the past twenty four years. He has always carried himself in a professional manner. His Head receptionist has also been providing prompt and curious care. I have recommended his services to five co workers, four of which are still his clients. Dr Butler has also referred me to other health care professionals, when I had to have surgical procedures. He is, and will continue to be my primary doctor.
