When I met Dr. Polkow he asked me why I scheduled an appointment with him and I told him because of good reviews online. He responded by saying you shouldn’t believe everything you read online - and boy was he right Went to see Dr. Polkow for shortness of breath. After a cursory interview and exam dr Polkow misdiagnosed and prescribed a treatment that did not solve my problem. A follow up exam with a much better pulmonologist, resulted in a correct diagnosis and solving issues.

Dr. Polkow is very thorough and thoughtful and knowledgeable in his treatment. He never rushes me and is very nice. Office visits are pleasant and done in a timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone.
