Dr. Volk is the doctor my husband sees for his primary care. She is the slowest and most unprofessional "doctor". ( and I use that word hesitantly) I have ever encountered. I called to ask for a refill on one of his medications and she did not respond. So, we called back a second time and she finally authorized a refill after ANOTHER week ! This is not pain medication, but a medication for a chronic issue for which he has been on for years. What is the problem? What if it was a heart medication or a medication or something of that nature? Just wait for her to "get around to it" ? I am going to report her to the medical board. This is unacceptable and inexcusable. Would SHE wanted to be treated like this??????
