Dr. Merritt King III, MD

Dr. King delivered my two amazing boys healthy even though we were high risk. He has always tried to help me through pain even though he didn’t exactly understand what was causing it. He has never let me go unheard, unseen, or left alone. He may have a strong wait time- but that is due to the surplus of patients that came from other OBGYN offices closing. He does his best with what he has. He will not BS you or cut around the bush. I owe Dr. King so much for helping me through two incredibly challenging pregnancies and delivering my babies to this earth safely.

He has delivered my two children done a hysterectomy and I am forever grateful for his care !

Dr. King and his staff, Marsha, Melissa and Susan are all amazing! Dr. King saved my life multiple times. He's the most caring, professional doctor.

Dr king first found my breast cancer, and quite literally saved my life. When i was pregnant he went above and beyond. He is so caring and patient, and answered all questions . He took amazing care of me and my baby. I would recommend him to all women!

I don't understand why the negative comments bc I had Dr King when I was pregnant with my daughter 2 years ago, my 4th child, and between all 4 doctors for all 4 of my pregnancies, he was the best one I came across!!! I had absolutely no problems with this doctor or his staff at all!! It just goes to show that everyone has different experiences and you can't actually rely on what others say bc you might actually have the best experience with this doctor or your worse! You never know until you go!

He missed some serious complications that I was/ am having with my pregnancy and I'm in my 2nd trimester. I found out after I was sent to the high risk doctor in another town. Then Dr. King tells me that because I complained about his nurse that means I don't trust his staff and I burned the bridge with his nurse and I need to see someone else. He then tells me that he is also dismissing me from his services because my health conditions are too complicated for him and he doesn't feel like he can handle my treatment anymore. I was told on the phone that the nurses notes show that she had spoken with Dr. King about my concerns but when my husband and I spoke to Dr. King in person he said that he was in surgery all day and had not spoken to her, that she is a triage nurse and speaks for him. So then she falsified medical notes? This is just a summary of what we have went through with this doctor and his nurse. DO NOT go to this doctor. Do NOT trust him with you and your baby's lives.

Dishonest and unprofessional. Do your research for documented complaints to the medical board

Avoid at all costs! Thoroughly do your research and background check.
