Great doc. Office manager is so rude and borderline threatening I no longer feel safe going there. Staff is generally friendly.

Awesome PCP
Dr. Balcha is wonderful. He has wonderful communication skills and takes as much time as you need to answer your questions at a physical. Glad he is my PCP

Great first experience
My first visit, after having to find another internal medicine doctor (she's no longer with Inova) was great. I did my research on Inova's website and selected Dr. Balcha as his profile stated that he specialized in high blood pressure (HBP). He listened to my concerns and made proper recommendations. He suggested that I change the HBP meds. Since taking the new medicine my readings have changed dramatically and the one concern that Dr. Balcha addressed has been resolved. No more swollen ankles. :-). I'm now watching my diet and exercising to get off the meds.

My second annual physical with Dr. Balcha. Solid 5 stars. Model physician: kind, gentle, extremely well-informed. Thorough review of my charts & history. Explains everything during examination, asks detailed questions, listens carefully, recommends treatments & behaviors without being pushy or judgmental. Reviewed & commented on my test results almost as soon as they came out. Overall excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Dr. Balcha is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. And I'm am old man! He asks very good questions. He not only listens to what you say, he is actually interested in you as a person. He is knowledgeable and highly competent. You can tell that he cares about his patients, and he treats them like his friends.

I represented doctors for years before retirement. And as the author of Consumer Contract Law in Virginia, I understand what a good doctor should be. My primary care physician retired in August, and I tried Dr. Balcha today, 9/11/2020. I was impressed beyond belief. I would highly recommend him. An A+.
