Dr. Michael Aberger, MD

I had a bit of a surprise, and accompanying anxiety, when i learned of my prostate cancer. Having dealt with such anxiety my whole life in medical settings, I was shocked at the empathy Dr. Michael Aberger showed when I expressed my fears. He talked with me about every aspect of my coming testing and treatment, explained various options, and was wholly supportive when i said I'd like to research other treatment means besides surgery. Throughout my testing, prep, and treatment he was kind and supportive, and responded quickly to my concerns, even seeing me on short notice to evaluate post target implant surgery bruising. He really couldn't have done any better allaying my fears.Later, my radiation oncologist asked me how it went and i said it went well, and that i was beginning to suspect that Surgeon Mike had 'mad skills'...he responded that he had worked with Mike Aberger a lot and was 'sure of that'.He's a great surgeon, a very compassionate care provider, and a nice man too.

Friendly, knowledgeable, accurate. Really on top of his craft and enjoys what he does which makes tough situations better for the patient.

Love Dr. Aberger! He's very knowledgable and reassuring. Also, nice to have a Dr. Who will give you medication samples to try, before spending money "out of pocket", for something that may not work. I highly reccomend him, whether you are male, or female.

I got a vasectomy from Dr. Aberger recently. He was very nice and reassuring as I explained that having that area tinkered with scared the heck out of me. He prescribed me a valium to help relax me and also antibiotics to ensure the site of incision wouldn't become infected. I really like him.
