This office cannot, and will, not tell me what the cost of the procedure will be. Repeated requested for a cost break down go unanswered. The staff on the phone talked down to you. The waiting room leaves much to be desired. The facility Michael uses for the surgery will send you a bag of soap. No one at his office, the facility, or the Medline, can tell you how much you will be charged for this bag of soap.

Pick another Surgeon. Maybe the positive reviewers were paid or given free service. I went in to get a mass removed due to Endometriosis and his bedside manner is nonexistent. He's a robot until he realizes he screwed up. The scarring is unbelievable. I've had two C- Sections and you can nearly see the scars. Carelessly done with no consideration. To add insult to injury, my incision was not closed completely and I feel a dent. Who does this. Presently consulting lawyers.

His surgerical skills left me with an open wound. He has no nurses on staff - only receptionist; so, if you have a problem after surgery - forget it. I have to sent text e-mails with photos of my open wound- his receptionist relayed the doctor’s response saying the open wound was normal-will heal from inside out. The surgical incision opened completely and was told that was okay. Went to another doctor who said it would not have healed for 6 mths -if that. I had another surgery to correct

Went to Dr Aguilar very anxious and nervous about my needed surgery but he was very calm and very easy to understand as he explained what would be done. When it had to be done again I was much calmer and knew he would do the very best that he could and he did. Surgery has been completed with positive results. Plus I never had to take any pain meds at all. He is the best. Have no qualms about sending family or friends to him. Had a great experience with him and his office.

I had surgery some years ago to repair a ventral hernia. Dr. Aguilar performed the procedure which left me feeling great within days. I healed without pain medication and returned for the follow up believing I'd never see him again. Recently, I had a Physical Therapy session where I stretched my abdomen and felt some discomfort. This led to a revisit Dr. Aguilar to make sure I was OK (and subsequently to this review). I highly recommend him to anyone needing hernia repair.

He just performed, using the highest of standards, a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy on me. My experience as a surgical patient was complicated by the fact I'm also a seasoned Perioperative RN. Dr. Aguilar alleviated my anxiety and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I've had zero postoperative complications and now recovering smoothly. Great guy. Excellent surgeon. Hands down.

Amazingly willing to take a look at my wife in her condition when others wouldn't. He is comforting and has gone to extremes taking care of her far past her initial surgical care needs. He checks on her and the family daily. He truly saved her life and is an wonderful man.
