He is very focused and very professional! I felt safe and comfortable while he was doing my cataracts!

Answered all my questions and gave me a complete sense of confidence. I enjoy when a dr has a sense of humor as well, puts me at ease. First eye is complete (cataract and astigmatism) and I’m looking forward to second eye. Office staff and staff at surgery center were all amazing. Highly recommend!

Dr. Alunni was very nice and answered all of my questions. Had cataract surgery in my eye that had previous surgery for a detached retina. Cataract surgery went very well, no issues, no pain. Highly recommended.

This Dr. Is an ignorant, arrogant idiot. He has no ability to communicate with his staff or patients. I never, ever have experienced a Dr, behave like him. If I could rate him 0 stars I Would have. He needs an attitude adjustment immediately. He is uncomfortable to interact with. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Alunni has the worst bedside manner of any healthcare professional I’ve ever interacted with. He’s callous and cold, verging on heartless. He verbally berated my 57-year old mother after she was understandably saddened about her vision loss, saying that “She knew it was coming” and “she shouldn’t be crying.” We’ve given him several chances and each time he’s been unhelpful and rude. Even after confirming that she’s gone blind in one eye, he refuses to write a note to her office explaining the situation. After seeing the way he treated my mother with my own eyes, I’ve decided to pull her from his care. I would strongly recommend avoiding him if you can - I would never want him to treat you or a family member of yours the same way.

Knowledgeable, efficient, provides exceptional care and attention to detail. His bedside manner may not always be the most warm, but I don’t choose my doctors based on how much I am coddled or how nice they are. I choose them based on their expertise and results. He is one the best in the field and would recommend him to anyone.

Total. Arrogant. Jerk. Responds to questions with hostility. Does not inspire a lot of confidence. I would not let him perform surgery on my elderly mother.

Even though procedures for both eyes for cataracts went well, I immediately developed a worse glow at night with lights. I needed laser surgery, in the office, on each eye to remove a thickening of the front of where the new lens was inserted. When he came in to do the second eye, I asked a few simple questions about concerns I had. He immediately berated and belittled me, and said he would put me in an exam room and then we could discuss things, I was absolutely shocked. Said he didn’t have time for this and he had other patients waiting. I have never in my life been treated like this. I have never given anyone a bad review, but this was over the top. Even his assistant left the room and didn’t return until he was done, then she walked me out. Choose someone else.

Dr. Alunni is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He did cataract surgery for my friend who was happy with her outcome and thrilled to be able to see better after struggling for years with poor vision. I drove her to her eye appointments with Dr. Alunni. He presented all treatment options along with his recommendations, but allowed my friend to decide what was right for her and when she wanted to have surgery. He provided honest answers in plain English, listened to her concerns, and did a great job on her eyes. Follow up was straight forward with clear instructions and office check up to make sure everything looked good. My friend and I were both very impressed with the outcome and level of care. Highly recommend this doctor for cataract surgery.

Dr Alunni was to see my parent for post op visit for surgery His Staff was professional He came immediately in room rude and aggressive I asked why He said Iam going over same thing as last visit I said your office told us to come I didn’t want to He even went back and forth with my 81 yr old mother .. Really There were 3 other doctors in room I asked them what’s going on every thing was going so smooth He said things as a Doctor That was very rude I asked him why was he so aggressive he was there 4 minutes top his office told us to come he said may be it’s for the insurance There is a certain hat you have to wear when your a doctor I would not trust his hands on eyes he does not display a calm demeanor Beware if You are looking for a caring Doctor He is not the one!!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful! Great pre- and Post op care

I had appointment with this Dr for an examination for glaucoma/eye exam. I was displease with the service his assistant was adamant about getting the script for my glasses I refused She asked me for it several times not taking no for an answer this must have set the tone. The Dr. exam must have revealed cataracts because he said to me that he let his patients tell him when they needed surgery, no other explanations who does that I evaluate Dr's. that I visit he totally was not a good fit

Just completed two cataract surgeries. Extremely pleased with results and the ease of the surgeries.
