Rude and Ignorant
I have worked with some of the best Drs in the country for a rare illness. First Dr ever who screams at their patients like a child. Not no nonsense. Yelling. Bait and switch tactic at detox. Takes away medicine prematurely, no taper. Told me they were done with my care. Then after 24 hours of misery, decides to offer taper. Disgraceful way to make more money. I was forced to sign AMA. So were the people leaving that day.

I've been working with Dr. B for over ten years as a patient with chronic pain and addiction issues. He literally saved my life when I checked into detox and since then he's been with me through relapses, successes, healing, and growth. He IS no nonsense. He's not super cuddly or overly chatty. He doesn't coddle you, which is important for addiction medicine. But I do remember that when I was nine years into my recovery, out of nowhere he said that he was extremely proud of how far I'd come, how much crap I'd had to deal with, etc etc...and it felt so good to know he really meant it. It wasn't just lip service. Anyway, I'm looking for docs for my daughter today and wanted to let y'all know...he's lovely if....gruff :) I ONLY give four stars because he doesn't have a HUGE in office appointment presence. for many years it was a race against time to get an appt if I didn't schedule it a month or so ahead of time.

I am gay and have had bad experiences where doctors do not do anything to make me comfortable speaking about concerns that are unique to my situation. I have met with Dr Baldinger a few times and he takes time to listen to my medical issues and makes me feel like we are partners in my treatment plan

This "Doctor" Baldinger is rude/arrogant. He doesn't take the time to listen to his patient's needs. It's a shame to have someone that goes into the field to help others be so out of touch with care. If I could give him 0 stars, I would. Shameful for a "professional".

I was looking for a new primary care doctor. My initial visit, he appeared to “go through the motions” and disinterested. I brought up a few items that I was concerned about and he passed right over them (not fully asking or checking them out). I did not feel that he was fully present nor that I could trust his responses
