I feel that many Doctors have lost their way when it comes to patient care but, not Dr Banas. I have gone to him since August due to a shoulder issue and each time I go he takes the time to listen and give every suggestion he could think of to resolve my pain. My last visit he asked two Doctors in his practice to review my MRI to see if they would have a different treatment plan than he has. You don't get this care at Geisinger folks! Geisinger wants your money but, Dr. Banas wants to help you. Look no further and make your appointment with him. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Banas is an excellent doctor. He fixed a torn meniscus in my knee in 2014. He repaired a ripped rotator cuff in 2018. He has great "bed side manner" and really explains all the options that are available to you.

Dr. Banas seems like he truly cares but is in the hands of a fairly inept office staff. Not all, but enough to make appts very stressful! I was continually harassed about xrays even though I told them repeatedly that THEY had my xrays because THEY took them! The day for my appt arrived and I was shown straight to the xray room for an xray. When I asked what they planned to xray, I was told that they were doing an xray for something I wasn't even being seen for. Wish that was only problem, too!
