Dr Williams preformed a reverse shoulder 4 weeks ago and I am healing so well.He was very educational- explaining the procedure completely and keeping us at ease. He also listened carefully to all our questions and concerns. I felt very fortunate to have him as my surgeon and would have put this surgery off if I had to go to a different surgeon.

Dr. Basso-Williams performed medial meniscus repairs on our 13-year-old daughter’s knees all within 6 months. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He made sure that my daughter, husband, and I understood everything that was going on and answered all of our questions.Our daughter was bummed out about not being able to play volleyball, run, and because of the recovery period however, Dr. Basso-Williams related to her through sports and gave her hope. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

I had shoulder replacement surgery approximately 6 months ago. Dr. Williams did such an awesome job. I am almost completely back to normal. His care and bedside manner is amazing. I knew everything to expect throughout the entire process. I have had multiple follow up appointments since and every time it was amazing. I am supposed to have my other shoulder done next and I wouldn’t go to any other surgeon. Anyone that is fortunate enough to have a physician as competent and caring as Dr. Williams will be definitely in more than capable hands

Dr. Williams is amazing! I initially went to see him thinking I needed a knee replacement because mine just gave out. He went over everything in detail so that I could make the best decision for myself. He explained several processes and I did end up having surgery, but not a replacement which I was grateful for. He basically cleaned up my knee during surgery and he did an amazing job. The results were great! I went through PT and feel so much better! He makes you feel comfortable and explains everything in depth so that you are able to make the best decision for yourself. He was very patient answering every question I had. He was open and honest about the surgery and the results. I knew about everything before he did it and was very pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend him to everyone. If I ever need another surgery, he will be the first person I contact.

Dr. Basso Williams is a very talented surgeon who also has excellent bedside manner. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained exactly what surgery I would be having and gave reasonable expectations for my recovery. I’d highly recommend him and hope I never need another survey but if I did, I’d go back to him in a heartbeat!

From the time I made the decision for my TKA of my right knee, Dr. Basso-Williams was definitely the doc for me. He was thorough in the expectations and explanation of what the surgery was going to entail and the follow-up process. His professionalism and candor throughout the process was phenomenal. His staff was unbelievable in their empathy for the patients. From the time I was admitted to the hospital to the follow-up care afterwards, the experience was excellent. I am definitely having my left knee done in the future. I want to thank him and his staff for what they do - I highly recommend him for your orthopedic needs.

Excellent surgeon, I appreciate the fact that he did not sugar coat how serious my injury was and how he was going to fix me. Dr. Williams was very professional and informed me of every aspect of the surgery and the recovery phase of my shoulder. I will highly recommend him to anyone, he is a top notch surgeon and will give you excellent care. I understand that he leaving the United States Air Force for the civilian sector, wherever hospital or private practice he lands at, he will be a wonderful addition to there staff.

Doctor Michael Basso-Williams replaced my right knee 7 months ago and I could not have hoped for a better outcome. After many PRP injections over the years it finally came time for a total knee replacement and the results are fantastic. From start to finish the process went perfectly. It feels like my knee is as good as it was before my ACL was torn 10 years ago. No more knee pain. I now have great motion, strength and flexibility too. I really wish Dr. Williams had done my left knee replacement also. I have seen dozens of physicians over my 60+ year lifespan and this doctor stands out as one of the best of the best. I highly recommend him!

Following years of increasing knee pain due to my military duties/lifestyle, it finally got to a point that I couldn't walk across a parking lot without being in huge amounts of pain. Once I got to Dr. Basso-Williams, he identified what my PCM had missed, a good chunk of cartilage was gone from the weight-bearing portion of my femur. He took the time to go thru all the options with me, explaining the pros and cons of each. Once the procedure was decided on, the surgery went extremely smooth compared to what I was prepared for. The rehab and process of getting my knee back tracked exactly with what Dr. Basso-Williams told me, and I am now 8 months post-surgery and back to running and riding my bike pain free. My knee will never be 100% again and I'm not running anymore marathons, but being a lifelong endurance athlete, Dr. Basso-Williams gave me back the ability to at least train somewhat again which feels great. Also, walking pain free is something I'll never take for granted again.

Dr. Williams absolutely crushed my surgery with my right knee ACL replacement. I have been running for many years and getting surgery worried me that I would not be able to continue on with running or not be as quick/strong. It has been 9 months since Dr. Williams performed on my knee and feels even stronger than before! I am very grateful to have Dr. Williams as my surgeon and highly recommend him!

Dr. Basso-Williams has done two surgeries for me. Both experiences went very well. He and his staff were very caring and attentive. My appointments were never rushed and he and his staff addressed all my concerns. My rotator cuff repair surgery was major. Dr. Williams did an excellent job repairing my shoulder and my recovery is going very well. I am a person with chronic pain issues and he understood and ensured that I was treated appropriately post-op for pain control. I appreciated his understanding. I would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone needing an orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Michael Basso Williams was excellent with my care and surgery and great rapport! Spent time explaining options, definitely read me well with what was needed to get me back into my side by side! It’s been about 3 months since my collarbone surgery, and I’m feeling back to normal just like before my accident. I go to the gym and stretch just like before. Dr. Williams has been nothing less than professional and truly looking out for me. I was looking forward to fully being cleared, but he recommended to stay on lighter duty. Because he wants to make sure I don’t have any problems in the future.

Dr Williams is a great physician. He listens to his patients and takes time to understand their issues. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is due to the pain I was feeling has not gone away in my shoulder. I don't fully hold him responsible due to the MRI and the surgery pictures showing no "damage". However, there is still something wrong with the shoulder. This however is not a reflection on the type of doctor he is or how he treats his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone who need to have a surgery!

Doc Williams repaired my right shoulder in July 2021. 6 months post op and my shoulder has felt better than it’s ever been. I’ve had repeated dislocations and he ensured that this procedure he performed will provide me the stability I’ve been yearning for. He and his team are incredibly courteous, passionate, and dedicated to their work. They are very responsive and thorough with every part of the process. Should you need a solid orthopedic surgeon, this the gentleman to see.

Because this kind of work is literally something you'll walk around with for the rest of your life, I can happily and honestly say I trust Dr. Basso-Williams for all of my orthopedic needs. Dr. Basso-Williams did surgery on both of my knees and I am extremely happy with the work he did. Dr. Williams is hands down an outstanding Orthopedic Surgeon. He repaired my right shoulder rotator cuff in July 2019 as well as my right knee ACL on September 2021. He is very professional and he is very good at what he does. My shoulder has mad a full recovery and my knee is doing very well after three months since surgery. I am on track to a full recovery. I would like to thank Dr. Williams for everything he has done for me. He is a true one of a kind and a great orthopedic surgeon. It is unfortunate that I am transferring in January 2022 because if I ever need another orthopedic surgeon in the future I would want it to be Dr Williams.
