Do not allow him to shorten any toes
Dr Bastani performs an excellent Lapiplasty bunion removal, but I think he performed an unnecessary shortening of my second toe. Now my second toe is still very swollen and VERY painful 8 months after surgery. I think he did the shortening because he wanted to try the procedure (I think I was his first). Like I said he did an excellent Lapiplasty but NEVER let him shorten a toe!
