Unsympathetic to patient comfort and unwilling to listen to their concerns. Waited far too long to make changes to his care plan that cost my family dearly.

Dr. Bergen cares deeply about his patients. He also has an innate interest in finding answers, staying abreast of key research in this area, and improving the quality of life for his patients. We have been working together since August of 2011 and I know that I can reach him anytime that I need his advice or help. I strongly recommend Dr. Bergen to anyone that needs an oncologist who is talented and cares.

His caring approach is remarkable. He listens intently to his patients' comments and weighs every issue carefully. There's never a quick or patented response. Instead, he evaluates and considers a variety of solutions before making a recommendation. He is up to speed on all the latest cancer developments and is eager to utilize new approaches. You can tell what a genuine and good person he is with a light hearted sense of humor by interacting with his staff, they all love him.
