Dr. Michael Botticelli, MD

Dr. Botticelli was the doctor on call Sat, 2/17/18. I have never spoken to a person this rude, ignorant, disrespectful, unprofessional & arrogant. It should have been a two min conversation to clear up a simple issue as calling in the antibiotic to the 24 pharmacy as opposed the closed pharmacy, Within seconds of Dr. Botticelli’s call he was YELLING and belittling, said he was not going to call another pharmacy and literally slammed down the phone. I would NEVER advise anyone to seek care here!

Dr. Botticelli is an excellent doctor. He listened to me when other doctors wouldn't. He listens and really cares what is going on with his patients.

Dr. Boticelli refused to come in to see my daughter in the ER after being requested to do so by the ER physician. She was there with a ruptured hemorrhagic ovarian cyst that caused her to bleed into her abdomen due to being on the blood thinner Xarelto. She had severe pain, low BP and fever of 102. The ER physician was very upset with him. Long story short, she spent 4 days in the hospital. Hgb dropped 5 points overnight. He and his partners disgust me! Got some answers with regular GYN.

I would not recommend this rude doctor to anyone! I presented to my local emergency room intense pain in my lower back. They do not have the equipment for pregnant women to monitor if your in labor or not so they transferred me to RMH. The on-call Doctor for Harrisonburg OBGYN Assoc. came in the room and it was Dr. Botticelli. He was rude and disrespectful. Tried to claim I hadn't been seen but once in 33 weeks of pregnancy. Told me I needed to pick my practice because I had gone to my local ER
