Dr. Britt’s bedside manner was abysmal. Will not be going back to him. Would not recommend to anyone. I preferred the resident who examined me, she cared.I asked him to explain why it was okay for me to wait till next week for MRI instead of getting it while there & was informed I was welcome to get a second opinion. All I did was ask a question & that’s what he replied. I was told by a medical assistant when I checked in that my crutches were inappropriate for me, too short. But Britt said “Oh they’re fine, don’t want them too tall.” They were too short, so after Britt left the room, MA helped me adjust them so I was steadier on my crutches. Dismissive attitude, didn’t explain what process I would go through. Didn’t seem to realize that I wasn’t versed in knee/ligament injuries & what’s usually done in these situations. Dr. Britt didn’t seem inclined to inform me of anything but get your “MRI and we’ll go from there” Ask a question and immediately get told to go get a 2nd opinion.

Dr Britt was the ONLY surgeon to help me with a knee replacement because I was only 36 y/o at the time. The surgery was a life changing event. I love this man!
