Absolutely horrible. Dr. Cheng talked to me instead of my 11 year old and didn't respond to the main reason for our visit until I asked him about it. That was poor service, but what made it horrible follows... He ran auditory and visual tests my son didn't need, wasted 40 minutes of time talking about a growth chart he initially said was completely inaccurate, even after I made it clear I didn't care about the chart, and nurse Michelle F. falsified documentation indicating we had received vaccination counseling she never provided. Of course we were charged for all of this and they knew I was paying out of pocket. I filed a complaint and their billing escalation process took 4 months, a dozen emails and phone calls and they still failed to investigate the actual claims I made. Their summary responded to items I didn't raise as issues indicating that everything was as expected. PAMF and Sutter Health are really to blame since they allow doctors to get away with this criminal activity.

We started seeing Dr. Cheng when our first son was born at SRPC. He is a wonderful pediatrician. So kind and caring. Down to earth and relatable. Totally goes the extra mile and even takes the time to call you personally which is rare these days. Our son was very jaundice at 10 days old and he was right there alongside us getting us the care that we needed.

We LOVE Dr Cheng. We actually called his old office to make an appointment with him (he's seen our son since we were in the hospital) for our sons 5 year check up and they would only say he wasn't there anymore. THANKFULLY, I found him again and once we get thru this 5 year check up we will be moving offices!!!

The other doctors at his previous group, San Ramon Primary Care, consistently misdiagnosed our two children. Only Dr.Cheng bothered to thoroughly read the charts and information from tests ordered by specialists. My wife and I find doctors, in general, view patients through the filters of their experience and training making assumptions that may or may not be true. Dr. Cheng is different, trying to find the underlying causes to complex medical issues (our family is not typical).
