I’ve been his patient for 48 years! He’s the best! Over my entire life he has always been able to give me the best medical care and became my PCP. Whenever I had a medical problem outside of his specialty he always directed me to the perfect Doctor who could help me. Today I learned he is retiring as of 12/31/22. It is a most sad day for me and a lost for all his current patients and a lost for all the potential patients of Long Island that will not get a chance to experience his kind, wise and expert care! I have been Dr. Michael Cohen’s patient for many years. He has successfully taken me through some difficult illnesses. He takes his time and listens well. He does not overprescribe medication and his choice of medicines is excellent. Although there are long wait periods for appointments he is worth waiting for.
