Inguinal Robotic Hernia Repair
I am 81 years old and had hernia surgery about 40 years ago. That repair finally failed and I needed to get it redone. Dr. Conway was recommended by my primary care physician and also a physician friend. From my first meeting with Dr. Conway to now, three weeks post surgery, I continue to be impressed with his knowledge and manner. Prior to surgery I obtained a second procedure opinion from a doctor at Jefferson in Philly. Both recommended the same procedure. I chose Dr. Conway because he had more experience with robotic surgery and provided greater detail on the procedure and possible complications. He and his staff at Saint Francis Hospital were wonderful and I always felt I was in great hands. If you need a hernia repair you cannot go wrong with Conway and his Group!

Dr. Conway & Staff
Dr. Conway & team was great. Had initial consult on 10-1 & surgery on 10-17 for an inguinal hernia. In my experience, quite a fast turn around! Dr. Conway explained the procedure in depth & had a good. sense of humor that put me at ease. In recovery talking with the nurses at the hospital, Dr. Conway is the best surgeon in Delaware. He contacted both my wife and daughter to let them know that surgery went well. Thank you, Dr. Conway and staff for the great service! 3 a half months later and doing well

Great surgeon - great experience!
Dr Conway was kind, thoughtful, thorough and has a great sense of when humor is appropriate. He explained things clearly and thoroughly - I had a great surgical experience as well - and as an OR nurse myself, I know the difference between a surgeon who cares and one who doesn't - this one cares - a lot!

Dr. Conway saved my life, when my appendix ruptured. I waited in the ER at Christiana Hospital over 5 1/2 hours, complaining of acute stomach pain. I developed peritonitis, & if it hadn't been for him, I wouldn't be here today. That was 14 years ago...

Just had my hernia operation yesterday, I have minimal to no pain or discomfort. Dr. Conway is a rare find. He is very knowledgeable with skilled hands and thorough in his practice. He is really a down to earth guy that has excellent bedside manners, including a bit of humor that leaves you very comfortable. Prior to scheduling my operation date, I asked him how one gets a hernia. He completely and thoroughly explained it using props and diagrams. It was like I was taking a course in Hernia 101. I asked if I was going to get credit for it. He said No but there will be a Test. What a pleasure it was to talk to him. I would highly recommend Dr. Conway to anyone needing a great surgeon.
