Rude, Not interested
As a licensed therapist with over 40 years experience working in numerous settings and with numerous clinicians, my experience with Dr. Corbin at the WellStar Cobb behavioral health unit stands out as one of the rudest, most incompetent meetings I have had the misfortune to experience. The tragic outcome is that the patient suffers from the inadequate care.

Dr. Corbin seemed less than interested in what I had to say until I addressed suicidal ideation. He then went far beyond the scope of his authority and had me committed under the Baker Act, over the protests of the police. Once I left his office, he never followed up with me to inquire about my well-being. I was very fortunate to find a doctor who does listen to me and has more sophisticated techniques for treating my depression that sending me to a hospital against my will.
