This doctor is extremely talented as a doctor
Dr. Desimone is an extremely talented and knowledgeable doctor. He has a huge problem and unfortunately in my opinion it may get him sued someday. The assistants that help this doctor set up appointments, secure refills etc. are simple put incompetent and or lazy. They are extremely rude to most patients and even me during my first visit. I let them know exactly why they will watch their tone with me. I am not their friend nor their patient. This is a large practice with many doctors. If all the doctors share these assistants then they need to fire everyone and start over quickly. He is putting a very difficult license to obtain at risk.

Dr. Desimone and Middlesex Gastro are the best!
I hadn't had a colonoscopy in over 15 years, but had to now because my Cologuard came back positive. I was scared to death to first, go through the colonoscopy, and second, worry I had cancer. I also didn't know what level of sedation to use. Turned out that all went extremely well. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Desimone were all top-notch. They all calmed my fears and comforted me. I ended up taking the Propofol after taking the advice of the nurses and anesthesiologist. It was the way to go! I slept comfortably throughout the colonoscopy and woke up refreshed. First words I heard from Dr. Desimone was 'no cancer'. I will go back in 3 years for another colonoscopy (not Cologuard), and at that time, will not worry about a thing. Big thanks to Dr. Desimone and all the staff at Middlesex Gastro!

I would highly recommend Dr Desimone to other patients.He took the time to investigate my health complains and took an excellent general health history.He was compassionate and truly listen to my grief and he had excellent suggestions. I like very much that he is truly well spoken which shows he has a great education but he is also kind and does not rush into doing invasive tests without a thorough investigation of symptoms. He also has a holistic approach and looked at my overall health not just the gastrointestinal system. And most importantly, he gave me the best gift, the gift of time, he did not rush through and I felt that my health really mattered to him.I highly recommend him!!
