Not caring at all and just blatenly rude most of the time. Changes his word.

4 minute phone call (including answering service). Told me to take Robutissin for cough and call the office in the morning. Could not do that because I had COVID-19. Unforgivable and dangerous.

My wife and I have been under Dr. Downing's care for over 20 years. He is always friendly and relaxed on our visits. Appointments are always dealt with on time. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and totally explains any treatment you may need thoroughly, and answers all of your questions. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Downing to anyone looking for a good and personable doctor.

Dr. Downing is always friendly, on time, and always addresses any concerns I have. I love that he takes initiative to make sure I’m up-to-date with all needs vaccinations and other necessary tests. I would 100 percent recommend him to anyone!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Downing ever since he took over for our previous Primary Care physician in 1996, and I have never doubted that choice. He is always prepared for our visits be they scheduled or a same day appointment for some ailment. He does his "homework" and is always prepared to thoroughly discuss specifics about the illness for which we are there. In my experience, whenever a referral to a specialist is called for, he invariably pre-prepares me for that visit by ordering appropriate x-rays, CT scans, etc, so that the specialist has the information needed, at hand, when I show up for the consult. Dr. Downing is truly a "people" doctor, totally devoted to his patients and their well being. He has provided outstanding health care for my wife and I, and I am glad the he is the Primary Care doctor taking care of us.

Dr. Downing has been my doctor for the past 23 years and I have full confidence in him. He always listens to my questions and problems, giving me answers no matter how long it takes. If I have an urgent problem arise, he is available whether it's through an office visit or on the phone. The annual exams are extremely thorough through his association with MDVIP. He encourages me to live a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Downing is very caring, never rushed and is always available. He is dedicated to his patients and very easy to talk to.

My husband and I saw Dr Downing for 3 years. In that time he failed to diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnea, attributing my chronic sleepiness to medication I was taking. When a research study at JHU discovered my Type 2 Diabetes, his treatment was not aggressive, allowing it to progress quickly. I spent 4 days in the hospital because he failed to diagnose my asthma - admitted via ER with blood oxygen in the 80s. He said my husband’s chest flutters were muscle spasms; our next doc found heart PVCs!

Dr. Mike provides outstanding, highly personalized, and advanced wellness and medical care in a professional setting. He is a very intelligent and experienced diagnostician with a friendly and compassionate personality.

Dr. Downing is very down to earth and tries his best to get me motivated to better my health they diet and exercise.

Caring, always listens to your concerns, excellent bedside manner, i feel comfortable talking to him & discussing my health problems, very thorough with exam & medications.

He is always concerned about any problems that we have. Gives a thorough exam every time we go to Him. Has a pleasant office atmosphere with Him and his staff. Takes the time to explain everything that we have concerns about.

Dr. Downing listens and takes into all appointments that his patients do know their own bodies enough to speak to what is going on with them.
