Dr. Michael Eglow, DPM

I met Dr. Eglow in the ER when a family member had a medical emergency that required immediate attention. What we thought was going to be the worst case scenario seemed much more manageable within minutes of meeting Dr. Eglow. His calm, skilled, witty, informative and compassionate bedside manner helped to ease our fears. With Dr. Eglow's encouragement and assurance that he would do his best to get her the treatment that she needed, she was well on her way to recovery in a matter of days. Dr. Eglow and his amazing team made sure to follow through with every stage of her recovery. His plan of treatment so far has proven to be quite beneficial, and we look forward to her full recovery in the months to come. Thank you, Dr. Eglow and your amazing team!

We saw Eglow for a fungal infection and Ingrown toenail. Unfortunately he only seems capable of dealing with one at a time which left my partner partner with a lot of pain. And an unresolved condition. Also seems to have a little bit of an attitude if the patient doesn't agree with everything he is saying. Also not completely up to current practice and standards.

My elderly parents have visited Dr. Kurtzer's office a few times now and have found his service very professional. He is a pleasant and knowledgeable Dr., however, at each visit, my parents have had a terrible experience dealing with his office staff. Several times my mom complained that she had requested for the whirlpool before scheduling the appointment and was rudely denied the service of that when she was there. Today I called to make an appointment for my parents and the office staff was NASTY in the way they spoke. I asked for their names and they hung up the phone on me twice. I called back to ask to speak with the Doctor and they stated “drop the attitude” and again hung up. They said I was harassing them, however, they are the ones that do not know how to speak to patients in a proper manner. This is not the first incident that has happened. They will price gouge you and are not willing to work with you price wise. A $20 ankle brace is $210 to them, and $83.90 after insurance. They don't tell you how much the brace will be. They will not work with you price wise and have poor customer service in their billing department.
