Dr. Michael Finkelstein, MD

I find Dr. Finkelstein to be caring and excellent doctor. Highly recommended

I’ve seen Dr. Fink for many years. I just completed my 3rd kidney stone surgery since 2010. He has a great bedside manner tells you what you need to hear and is very honest with you. The only issue that I find is, they don’t have enough time for you when it comes time to explain the post procedure issues. The staff is friendly, but it feels like they are very busy and don’t really have time for you.The latest experience I had was a PA and that was not exactly friendly and did not represent how Dr. Finkelstein runs his clinic. So I was not happy about that.

Very down to earth, tells you everything you need to know about your problem. Enjoyed my visit. Really felt very comfortable with him and his staff.

He knows what he is doing. He is very smart and kind.

If your insurance sends you to Urology associates and you get assigned to Dr. Finkelstein. Run the other way. There is a reason he makes you feel out papers releasing him from any problems. You have been warned !

My 83 year old father who has been battling bladder cancer for many years and was first treated by Dr Finkelstein but due to health care insurance changes had been not been able to continue treatment with him. After discovering the tumors had regrown my father had requested Dr Finkelstein and was happy to find out that request had been approved. Yesterday after surgery Dr F calls my 79 year old mother to update her on the surgery however decided that he would rather berate her with his anger toward staffing issues, administrative issues and for some odd reason assumed that both she and my dad should have reminded him the he would need a long scope in order to complete the surgery properly and since he didn’t have this tool available he had to burn a tumor as opposed to removing a tumor. Both my mother and sister inform Dr F that none of his issues or complaints have anything to do with a patient’s responsibility he suggests that they part ways and he will no longer be my dads Dr.

I talked to someone named Lupe.She was rude, put me on hold and never came back on the line. I called again and asked to speak to the office manager. I just wanted to know more information about my appointment and she put me on hold again and I waited thinking they were busy but the call disconnected after 40 minutes of waiting on the line.Now I just need to cancel my next appointment on January 18, 2024. Those staff will make you sick, not help you get better.

Very poor service! Cannot recommend Urology Specialists at all.

I met with a physicians assistant. I hate to rate anyone with a 1-star. I was very dissatisfied with the service I received. I am back to square one because this firm was not thorough; there was no follow-up. In fact, leaving messages and not getting return phone calls was the norm with this office. I would not ever recommend Urology Specialists.

Having been his patient with bladder cancer and being treated by him for close to 3 years (after being given a reprieve of 1 year), last week I was told I was free and clear of the cancer and to go celebrate! Besides having a great staff and seeing patients promptly, I cannot see anyone talk negatively about Dr. Finkelstein.

Dr. Finkelstein is a passionate, compassionate and consummate professional. Been his patient since early 2014. Always has the patient’s welfare at heart.

Dr. Finkelstein was great!! Exceptional bedside manner. Makes you feel very comfortable and takes his time. He is genuine, very approachable and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough about him.

Dr. Finklestein is delightful! He’s got a great bedside manner....makes me laugh! He treated me for bladder cancer and ureter cancer as well, related to my colon cancer. He worked a miracle saving the rest of my bladder. He also worked wonders on what was left of my right ureter. I adore him! So patient, and explains things in laywoman’s terms that I can thoroughly understand! I’m so grateful to him.

Dr. Finklestein treated my kidney cancer in 2006. His professsionaism and ability to explain a relatively complicated procedure in terms that were easy to understand we're very impressive . My first time visiting Dr.Finkelstein. He was very professional, pleasant to speak with when discussing my medical issue. I highly recommend him and look forward to working with him to resolve my medical issue.

Been going to Dr. Finkelstein for 9 years. He performed a lithotripsy on me. No discomfort afterwards. Very kind and caring doctor. Higly recommend him. My husband sees him also and thinks highly of him.
