I went to funderburk for 2 years. Every 6 months or less I was back at his office with the same problem. He told me that I had a swollen prostate. After 4 laser TURPs that he talked me into I changed Urologist. My new doctor who worked at the same place did a prostate exam on me and told me that he could barely feel my prostate much less a swollen prostate. The official diagnosis was that my bladder muscles were weak probably from a lower back surgery. During the last visit to funderburk he seemed very mad and jammed a wire in my private that hurt like hell and in a mean voice he called me by my last name and said “Why won’t you heal dammit”. In my opinion this is a terrible doctor that’s in it for your money and that’s all. In my opinion this is a terrible doctor and I wouldn’t a pet fish to him. I read his reviews and either he wrote them or maybe some folks got lucky. I would

Dr Funderburk is great. I have seen him several times but not in the last few years. The first appointment I can get is September 25, 2018. Today is July 2, 2018. That is a long time to wait for an appointment for a very leaky bladder. I know he will diagnose the problem and know how to fix it. He fixed me for another problem so well that I have not had to call him in quite awhile.

Each time I have a medical issue pertaining to a visit with Dr. Funderburk I feel very confident that he'll do everything to find out what the issue is and how to treat it. He is an excellent doctor and makes you feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend him.
