I visited Dr. Gallina with issues on two toes with nail trama, in addition to nail fungus. I fully expected to be given a prescription to treat the issue, but rather, Dr. Gallina recommended that I use a common OTC cream! Additionally, due to my flat feet, he recommended that I purchase one of three brands of walking shoes, and specific arch supports. The results are amazing. In 5 weeks both nails are quickly growing back in, and the fungus is gone! Also, the shoes have now helped me continue with my workouts with pain free toes! His honesty in recommending OTC cream versus expensive prescriptions was quite refreshing. Thanks again Dr. Gallina!

Dr. Galina performed surgery on the opposite side of my ingrown toenail causing me tremendous pain and not able to walk for a week. He apologized and billed my insurance company and sent me to collections when I refused to pay the copay!

I had bunion surgery in Feb. 2022. I was walking same day (limited) and back to walking for exercise a couple months later. Then hiking in the mountains that summer. I couldn't wait to have my other foot done. So I just had that done 2 weeks ago. Dec. 27, 2022. It's going well once again. ?? I would and have recommended him. Great at what he does. Answers questions and doesn't rush through appointments. Can't wait to be hiking again this spring. Thank you Dr. Gallina.

Dr. Gallina helped me 6 months ago with a plantar fasciitis problem with my right foot. Returned to see him concerning pain in my left toe. Following treatment last week and so far, it appears he successfully eliminated my pain. But the kicker is (knowing I am leaving to go North) he invited me to call him and let him know how things were progressing.

Surgery went well. Office staff is very helpful. Follow up appointments are most often, on time. Dr. Galena cares and listens to patient concerns. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time explaining the conditions, and treatment options.

When I met Dr.Galina my name was Debra Barnett. We met in Lakeland, FL. When I told Dr. G my last name, he asked me, "Barnett as in Barnett Bank?" I replied " I wish!". Dr. G replied back "Me Too". It was so funny to me, because he immediately replied, with an embarrassed look on his face, "I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way". we laughed & then I told him that I was getting married to a man with the last name Jenkins. He asked if he was any relation to George Jenkins who owned Publix a grocery store. I again replied "I wish!"It was the start of a long relationship with many surgeries. He was the finest DR. I had met. His stitches look like they came from a sewing machine. You want a podiatrist you can count on to tell you straight up how it is, trust me when I say he was one of the Best.

Dr Galina had no bedside manners. He’s the worst dr I’ve ever gone too.

Absolutely fabulous! He is caring, concerned, and extremely talented. He performed surgery on my foot that hadn’t healed for a number of years following numerous surgeries. He’s great!

I am very disappointed in the service I have received from Dr. Gallina's Office. Last year I had an ingrown toe nail. They scheduled me for removal. I went back for the removal and Dr. Gallina looked at it for a minute and said I didn't need the surgery and it would go away on it's own and I could leave. He said I wouldn't be charged. Fast forward to April 2020 when I get a bill for $60.00 FROM A DEBT COLLECTOR for Dr. Gallina and Gulfcoast Medical Group Foot and Ankle. I wrote letters to the debt collector, Gulfcoast Medical Group, and Dr. Gallina's Office about the billing issue-- zero response. I HAD absolutely perfect credit my entire life, and now I have to deal with this. I will get this resolved and I will get that taken off my credit report. To whoever is reading this, my name is Jessie Jones and I'm the one who hand wrote letters to your office, which you never responded to. Now, I'm sharing my story everywhere and filing complaints with the BBB.

Dr Gallina and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr Gallina is confident in what he does and everyone listened to my concerns. My recent surgery was successful and I would recommend this office to anyone.

Contracture Of joint of right foot, Dr. did surgery in 02/2017, replaced rt. toe w/ metal one. Surgery was not healing properly, returned to office on 6/18/18. Dr assigned physical therapy to increase range of motion. Completed therapy & a year later my right hip, shins & foot make walking my dog painful. I am in more pain now than I was before the toe joint was replaced. There is also a huge gap between 2nd & 3rd toe, which was never there before. Not going back to this Dr. Going to try a DO instead of Dr Gallina who is a DPM. Had to give up my ballroom dance classes after surgery & still cannot resume.

Dr. Galina was late in seeing me ( I understand this can happen), but I felt the 5-10 minutes he did see me was a real waste of time. I was more concerned when my electronic Medical Chart was incorrect regarding describing my visit with him. My vitals and medications were not reviewed at all and my condition was not explained with charts and diagrams as documented in my Chart. I have asked that my Chart be corrected. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Galina.

Good guy, knows what he's doing. Would recommend to anyone.
