This doctor is good medically but he and his group in the office are cruel and heartless. The staff tells things to the doctors that are not true. Please do not ever ask for anything for pain because they will treat you like a drug addict and put horrible things in your patient file. If you have another place to go then do not go to Marshall Health Orthopedics, or Marshall at all. They are mean spirited and stereotype. I had lost 30 lbs, and blood levels below 7. I could barely walk and they treated me so terrible. I am extremely ill and it is not just from a broken leg. I found out I have cancer. They had no concern for how weak I was or how white and sick I looked. They are evil. I really needed to see Gentile for a referral to physical therapy. I told him I didn't want him to give me any meds but I really needed him. He said he would send me a letter dismissing me. I am extremely hurt. It may be they look down on me as I have Medicare and Medicaid.

This is my second surgery with Dr. Gentile. What a amazing Doctor. I have been exceptionally satisfied with his care and the surgeries performed. Dr. Gentile makes sure you are aware of all the pros and cons and gives you a great plan of care. You can tell how passionate he is about his work and his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Gentile for any foot problems.

I have had Dr. Gentile perform multiple ankle reconstruction surgeries on my right ankle due to a lifetime of ligament and tendon damage from sports and a very active lifestyle where a severely sprained ankle was something that you would just "walk off", and lace your boots a little tighter for a week or so. I have been very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him. He takes the time to explain what he is going to do, answers my questions and he encouraged me to write down and bring a list of questions in rather than try to remember them all on the spot during the appointment. Dr. Gentile had to perform a subtalor joint fusion on my right ankle as well, as the Peroneus Longus and Peroneus Brevus tendons had both ruptured after a previous repair attempt, so he replaced the tendons and fused the subtalor joint to allow me to have a mostly normal walk again for which I am eternally grateful. My highest recommendations to Dr. Michael Gentile.

Gave me good information. Included his partner in the appointments as well as an assistant. Let me decide what I wanted without pressure.

I ruptured an Achilles. Gentille's surgery was a " failure" according to three other doctors. I now have a permanent limp, and many nerves were killed.
