Dr. Michael Germain, MD

Dr. Germain is one of the most thorough doctors that I've ever seen. He spends time with you and doesn't rush you plus he is kind. I've been a patient of his for the last 5 yrs. He has gone into private practice and is now at 65th St and E Greenway.

Dr Germain has been my doctor for over 4 years. He takes the time to explain the medication, treatment and side effect. And he’s sooo caring, makes sure he answers all my questions.

I have been fortunate to have had some very good PCPs in my life including a well-renown diagnostician and a family care specialist from the Cleveland Clinic. Both pale in comparison to the care that I received from Dr. Michael Germain. The office staff at his healthcare conglomerate were less than ideal, often rude and dismissive but I cannot allow their bad behavior to reflect on my report card for Dr Germain. Dr. Germain always took the time needed for this old, geriatric body, never rushed through my appointments, thoroughly explained his suggested treatment plans, always involved me in my healthcare decisions, and followed-up with me for all of my test results. He will not compromise the quality of care given for speed. Unfortunately, through circumstances beyond my control, I have to find a new PCP. Whoever gets my spot in his patient roster is a very lucky person indeed. You will not find a better PCP anywhere.

Dr Germaine listened to my concerns and was very attentive and helpful to what needs to be done for my health. I appreciate his concerns and his taking time to see me,

Prefer a Dr, with a bit more knowledge/experience… He prescribes “ a lot” of meds

I waited 5 months for an appointment. I had completed all the paperwork that was requested prior to the appointment. I arrived 7 minutes early and was greeted with ‘I’ll have to check in the back cause you’re late.’ The receptionist maintained they had called to tell me to come earlier to fill out paperwork. They had not. I almost had all their paperwork complete when the receptionist said she’d heard from ‘the back’ and I’d have to reschedule. This was one of the later appointments in the day, and the lobby was empty. Really unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Needless to say I did not reschedule. I’ll update the review if they bill me for this fiasco. I wouldn’t be surprised.

Dr Germain has been our PCP for several years and wouldn’t think of changing. He spends time as needed with his patients. He can diagnose a problem just by observing and questioning you.

Dr. Germain listened to my health concerns and appeared to be a caring, knowledgeable physician who answered all my questions. Because of the treatment he recommended, I had a positive recovery. I've recommended him to my family members.

Liked Dr. Germain from the very beginning. I have complete confidence in him. Very easy to talk to. Gives you his honest medical answers. He listens to you and is willing to dig deeper into your symptoms until he finds out what's going on. Great follow up. Love the portal. He and his staff respond effectively. Have referred family and friends to him. All are pleased as I am. Staff will even call you to make sure you saw his message, especially if you didn't respond. Couldn't be in any better hands.

In my plus 50 years of seeing Doctors, I have never encountered such professionalism, care, kindness and attention to my health as performed by Dr. Germain. He has your utmost healthcare in mind added with a bit of humor. I highly recommend Dr. Germain.

Dr Germain He is thorough, compassionate, and truly dedicated. I am amazed as a senior citizen the amount of Care he directs towards ensuring my best possible. Dr Germaine has my complete confidence. I highly recommend him .....

Dr. Germain as a fill in for my regular physician. He was a delight- a young man with an old-timey family doctor feel. I had burst my eardrum with a qtip and he teased me a little bit and we had a good laugh. He called an ENT and instead of shipping me off to a specialist, he got advice and prescribed me ear drops and even found a product that was literally a HUNDRED dollars cheaper than what he originally looked at. There are some people you just know care about people. He is one.

I saw Dr. Germain because I couldn't get in to see my regular PCP. He spent a lot of time with me, was very thorough and my impression is that he is a terrific physician. I would definitely recommend him, in fact I already have.

At first I was upset when I learned my long term PCP in Pinal county didn't take my new ins. but it was a blessing in disguise when I choose Dr. Germain as my new PCP. I did my homework before making my choice and all gave him 4.5 to 5 stars. I have recommend him to a neighbor who hated her PCP and she thanked me and said she loves Dr. Germain too. Another plus is the reception staff is wonderful.

Dr. Germain was friendly, and apologized for being behind schedule. Listened while taking down lots of information felt like he was attentive about my health concerns; having had cancer I appreciate that. Very knowledgeable regarding concerns radiation for NHL. Has a nice smile and great handshake! :)

Not only is the staff in office very kind, The Nurses that work with him are attentive, thorough, and helpful. Dr. Germain has always provided me quality care above and beyond other PCP's I have been to. He listens very well, spends time trying to help figure out a proper plan and is always great about communicating with other doctors and specialists. I have and do recommend him and the clinic at Banner Health

The very BEST kind of old-fashioned doctor. Skilled, thorough initial exam; insightful questions; clear explanations; conscientious professional with good intuition, good record-keeping and attentive follow-up; very personable, never hurried or distracted, but interested in improving this patient's health. I'm extremely fortunate to have found him and happily recommend him to others with chronic conditions.

The office staff is horrendous. Had my annual check up and had to jump through hoops to get test results. Tests showed possible pre diabetes. No follow up what so ever from Doctor or staff. Explained the office problem to Dr. Germain and he told me he no control over office staff. Asked him for a kenalog shot I have been taking for years for allergies that works for me and he refused to give it to me. Have just moved to Phoenix but am looking for new primary ! Run from this office !
