Horrible experience
When Dr. Glass entered the exam room he immediately started reprimanding me for missing a previous appt and canceling another over a 3 year period deeming me 'non-compliant'. He had me in tears for the duration of the exam and, while I cried, he continued lecturing me. He was so loud that I was embarrassed that the staff outside of the exam room could hear him yelling. I am a 73 year old woman and normally do not let rude and disrespectful people affect me but Dr. Glass' behavior was definitely uncalled for.

Self proclaimed 'old school' doctor.
First visit was extremely short and he ordered a biopsy. Like most 79 yr old men, I have an enlarged prostate and was looking for non-invasive options to detect cancer. He referred to me as a 'complex patient'. Guess I asked too many questions based on my research with the Mayo Clinic, John Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, and other trusted sources. Put me on a beta blocker after second visit. Third visit I had an ultrasound that showed minimal retention of urine in the bladder. He asked if I thought the Beta blocker was working and I said I could not detect much of a change in my flow since he didn't do a PVR before I started taking the Beta blocker. He said 'If it doesn't work, don't take the pill' and walked out.

Avoid at all costs
November 1, 2022 my dad went to Dr. Glass for a follow up from an infection of his prostate. Dr.Glass did an ultrasound and saw that his bladder was not emptying completely. My dad asked about a MRSA diagnosis that was in his folder. Dr. Glass did not know it was in his folder so we went and looked and there it was. Dr.Glass gave him a prescription and told him to come see him in 2 months. Well the next day he was so bad that my dad had to be admitted to the hospital with a bladder that was so full and infected. This all happened the next day after the ultrasound and the Dr at the emergency room said that he might not have lasted another day.

Terrible experiences with this urologist. He did an invasive procedure on me and did not give me preventative antibiotics after (I was unaware that this was the norm). I developed an infection afterwards, and needed longer-term antibiotics. He refused to prescribe me a medication that is used commonly for my chronic condition, which was recommended to me by multiple people. He dismissed my request for the medication with "this chemical component is scary and bad therefore the medication is bad." It was like he had no grasp of "the dose makes the poison." His alternative choice of medication has far worse side effects. After the appointment I cried, and I was so frustrated that I was planning to fire him as my urologist, but then I come to find out that he resigned! The new urologist I was assigned prescribed me the medication without me even bringing it up! It's been a miracle for me. I feel terrible for anyone who gets this guy as their urologist. He's rude, dismissive, and wrong.

At 48 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Had surgery and prostate removed. Dr Glass and staff was always the most professional people I had ever dealt with. Was extremely disappointed when he merged his practice with Colorado Urology and was forced out the door or they were so unprofessional he had to leave. Either way his was a loss as a good Urologist Doctor.

I went to Dr. Glass at 37 years old. For my bladder cancer. Absolutely the best and kindest person, nurse Debbie another great person there also. Continued to see him until 48. Continuing my bladder surgeries and treatments over that time. Complete professional service from the both of them, staff also provided great service. I’m a survivor and all still intact thanks to him. For the people that say he was rude and just wanted to sell you something you are so wrong. All doctors keep busy schedules and try to see as many people as possible. They don’t have time to sit there and hold your hand and tell you a bedtime story. Do your part for your health and they will do theirs.

Best Doctor I ever had. Explained everything in detail and was the first person to call me the day after surgery just to check on me. Some of these reviews blow me away but I feel like he was the best, it kinda makes me question these people who are so negative about Dr Glass. Maybe a bad day or even a bad life!

I went to see Dr. Glass a year ago about an enlarged prostate. He asked me no questions, but immediately tried to sell me on a couple of "revolutionary" new procedures for prostate treatment that he recently had learned. He was also very rude.

I was totally unimpressed! Dr Glass asked me two guestions; 1) why was I there, and 2) why did I miss an appointment with his partner 2 years ago. I have 30 years experience in healthcare (currently retired) and I can’t believe how I was treated. I have no confidence in this group!

Was referred to Dr. Glass by my Primary for further eval. of Testosterone treatment & enlarged prostate. He tried to sell me Testosterone but wouldn't offer me a Rx so I could use my insurance. Never even talked to me or examined me about any part of the prostate/urinary issue. All he wanted to do was sell me something. No interest in me as a patient. Only had the one visit, I will not be back. Waste of my time, my copay and my insurance company's payment to his office.

Dr. Glass asked me some questions but had no idea why I was there. He didn't read the chart, talk to the intake nurse or know that I was already on Testosterone. Told him I was on Testosterone and he gave me one option for care. Without any exam or much discussion. The option was to sell me a 6 month supply of Testosterone. He would not let me use my insurance to pay for the Testosterone or supplies. He said he would charge me directly. "That's the way we do it" he said "and it's a good deal".

Before I had my prostatectomy, Dr Glass explained all that I could expect before , during and after the procedure. That was about 5 years ago and everything has been as he said it would be with no complications. I would recommend Dr Glass to all with urology issues.
