I just can't find anything nice to say because there isn't. Staff is rude, unhelpful and just plain dumb ! I'm rating one star because I have to or I would rate MINUS 5 Stars !

This doctor dismissed my symptoms and made me feel like my RA pain was imaginary. Never again!

Absolutely the worst! I was a patient from 2010 through 2014 and was diagnosed by Dr Guma himself. I returned this year due to the same symptoms popping back up. They did not have my previous records and were confused as to why I was even there. I was treated so unprofessionally by both the rude staff and the doctor. I was brushed off as if I had no reason to be there.

I have been going to Dr Guma for almost 20 years. He listens to my concerns, helps me with my pain management and is very concerned for my well being. It is important to be comfortable with your doctors and I have that relationship with him. I wouldn't go to anyone else unless there was no other choice.

even though he has internal medicine + rheumatology, he won't prescribe any medicine even if it was his RA pills that caused side effects, so if you have side effects, you need to visit a PCP and pay that PCP too. So much for internal medicine degree!! I have been his patient for 5 years and he is very insensitive, the only reason im with him is coz of my insurance. he won't care for any symptoms other than RA , no other pain matters to him. 2 hours by default wait, staff too inefficient, full of young females!! who don't call you after following up on a prescribed medicine with insurance neither bothers calling you to tell you what happened. The staff keeps forgetting sending pils to the pharmacy or following up & informing the patient. no matter how sick, the patient ends up following 100 times & yet those girls don't give answers regarding inquiries on prescription or return calls as promised. the office hours of the doctor is equally limited, hardly 3 days!

Dr. Guma diagnosed me when I was 35yrs old and I have been with him for the past 5 years. If it wasn't for him I still would have been in pain since no one knew where the pain was stemming from. All these bad reviews are nonsense. He is not arrogant at all, he sits and listens to your concerns. He truly does care for his patients. I recommend him 1000%

My dad had seen a slew of rheumatologists who were of little to no help and seemed to only prescribed higher doses of existing medication. When we first met with Dr. Guma several years ago, he scheduled comprehensive blood work and x-rays, discussed the results with us thoroughly and made changes to his medications. Within a few weeks, my dad was feeling better than he had in far too long. We have other family members who see Dr. Guma as well who say the same.

I have seen many doctors over the last few years for a rare disorder and no other doctor treated me with the kindness and consideration of Dr. Guma. Although this condition is not related to his specialty, he took the time to do research on his own time and advise me on how to move forward to find someone who could help me. Finally, I have hope because of him. God bless this man.. he is so very special and I feel blessed to know him.

Dr. Guma is a great doctor, he is knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. My only criticism is the overscheduling of patients. Consistent wait time of 45 minutes to an hour for a scheduled appointment.

After visiting other rheumatologist, I walked into Dr. Guma's office with little hope that I would be able to walk normal again. I walked out with a clear and straight diagnosis and a treatment plan that would ultimately relieve my symptoms. Dr. Guma is an excellent Dr. and a credit to his craft. Don't confuse confidence with arrogance.

I would NEVER recommend this man to anyone, not even my WORST enemy! The second he walked in the room he exude pure arrogance and ego. I'm a 43 yr old female looking for a "real Rheumatologist". This guy couldn't diagnose a severed head.
