I recently went to see Dr. Horwich with my son to learn more about a condition that my son was recently diagnosed with. To the best of his ability and knowledge, Dr. Horwich answered all my questions. However, there was a coldness and flatness to his affect and presentation that made me feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. Upon leaving his office, I asked my son for his impression of Dr.Horwich. His response, “he seemed annoyed!” So many emotions can still be conveyed behind a mask, such as empathy. friendliness. Compassion, etc. Unfortunately for us, we felt none during our brief interaction with the doctor. With that said, we will not be seeing him again.

I suffered for 28 months with various skin conditions and visited a number of dermatologists in my area to get some relief from them. In that time I was poked, prodded, and prescribed different antibiotics and creams to no avail, things just kept getting worse. When I went to see Dr. Horwich he told me the prescribed medications were interfering with each other and he got me back on track. My conditions are clearing up thanks to his intervention and expertise and I would recommend him highly.

Smart guy. Very patient, discussed what was going on before he did anything. Office visit did not feel rushed. Very calm and friendly. What I needed was simple, but I felt like it was as important to him as it was to me. Rare in a medical office.
