Terrible!
I agree with all the one star reviews here as my experience was very similar. I went in for food allergy testing but he did not seem interested in discussing that and offered no help at all. Tried to sell me on getting weekly allergy shots after telling me I would develop asthma if I didn't. This is obviously a money maker for him. Very rude and unprofessional, worst doctor I've ever seen. Avoid!

Unprofessional and NOT helpful. He told me my chronic allergy-driven health issues will only get worse and worse but offered zero solutions, after trying one treatment that failed. Doesn't listen to or think about his patients or their wellbeing.

Very Good and prompt
April 8, 2022 Dr. Michael HUGH Review Today I arrived at the Poughkeepsie office of ENTA about 30 minutes early for my appointment with Dr. Michael Hugh. The receptionist provided a three page patient form to complete, which I did just before Suzanne, Dr. Hugh’s assistant called me into her office for preliminary introduction and allergy testing. She clearly explained the procedure, what I would feel, and what obvious results were (itching) as she proceeded. Following the preliminary phase Dr. Hugh promptly came to me and escorted me to his office where he performed a thorough examination and inspected the injection sites used for the allergy tests. He reviewed test results with me and answered my questions. Dr. Hugh recommended a treatment to improve my breathing to reduce the possible future lung problems. In summary, I am very pleased with Dr. Hugh and Suzanne’s professional care for me and look forward to follow up treatment with them.

I don't usually leave reviews, but my experience at Dr. Hugh's office left such a bad taste in my mouth, that I wanted to share. After waiting approximately a month for an appointment, I couldn't be more disappointed. Dr. Hughs has no interest in practicing medicine. He only wants to shuffle patients in and out and collect payments for allergy shots, which his nurse and a tech perform, while he hides in his office. He did not listen to my concerns, didn't look at the area that was bothering me and was condescending. His only goal was to sell me on allergy shots for seasonal allergies, which isn't even the reason I made the appointment. I would not go back to his office and I would encourage others to go elsewhere, where they may actually get medical care. If you are looking for allergy shots, then this is the place to go. They were quick and efficient.

Dr. Hugh was excellent. He may be a little iconoclastic, but a doctor doesn't have to be a rock star to be caring and effective.

Dr. Hugh didn't have a great bedside manner and didn't handle our session professionally. He simply greeted us by saying, "You can come in now", as he continued to walk by. He fueled the fire when he saw that my fiancé and I had differing views regarding the severity of his allergies. Because he himself has allergies and has asthma now, he scared us into buying medication saying my fiancé will end up with asthma and apnea years later as well. This seemed very unprofessional to us.
