My husband had to have an emergency visit with a glaucoma specialist and was referred to Dr. Izzo. Best referral ever. I happened to be out of town for this appointment, but I was called and was able to be a part of the visit that way. Dr. Izzo thoroughly explained my husband's problem and the steps needed to correct it. Surgery was next. It was scheduled for the next week when I would be home. the day of the surgery, Dr. Izzo came out and talked to me about the procedure and the expected outcome. He addressed any questions or concerns I had. After the surgery, each and every post op appointment was as thorough as the first. Dr. Izzo is very invested in his patients and takes a personal interest in each one. He doesn't make you feel like a number. He takes as much time as needed to address your questions. He does everything he can to give you the best outcome. We give him 10 out of 10 stars.

Recently I had an issue with my eyes which required immediate attention. The ophthalmologist I normally see at Berks Eye Physicians and Surgeon was not available and I was scheduled to see Dr. Michael Izzo. It was very evident from the start of my visit that I was being taken care of in the same knowledgeable, caring,¬ and professional manner that I have been used to receiving at Berks Eye for over 24 years. It is comforting to know that the care I have been used to receiving continues with Dr. Michael Izzo. ¬
