If there was a negative rating
No communication. His secretary has a cell phone that she never answers. Still have issues so I am seeing another doctor. Horrendous experience.

Lithotripsy no stent even though it was scheduled
Ended up back in ER very next morning extreme pain unable to urinate and vomiting. Called office they acted as though I was complaining and told me to go to ER. Told by St Mary’s ER wait will be 3-4 hours. Now sitting in ER in terrible pain with frequent vomiting. Called ofc again and asked if they could call ER To speed it up. They acted like I was putting them out and said they would try to call

I was admitted to St. Mary's in 2017 with kidney stones, having no urologist, Dr. Karasis came to my rescue. Great bedside manner, throughly explained what procedures we were going to do. Admitted again 2020, Dr. Karasis again to the rescue.

Dr. Karasis is BY FAR the finest doctor I have ever had. I have many doctors due to a spinal cord injury (I am quadriplegic). He will provide a quick appointment appointment. Example i.e. I needed a surgical procedure. He asked me what days were best, I gave him two days which worked for me the following week. He said let me call you back in 10 minutes. He called back in less than 10 minutes and everything was already set up – Anesthesiologist, surgical suite and staff. The best!

Years ago I was told by another Urologist that I needed surgery for a verisicle problem. I went to Doctor Karasis for a 2nd opinion. The Doctor examined me and a said I did not need any surgery. He explained a very simple thing to do and it worked. I have been back to see Doctor Karasis a few times over the years for other things and I trust him whole heartedly. Don't forget to check out his great sculptures that are in his office that he has made. He is a Very talented person.
