Dr. Kluger is the best. I credit me being on this earth still to him. He made me feel so much more at ease after talking to him about my diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and I fully trusted him and his plan! I cannot say enough good things about him and his team at Irving Cancer Center. Thank you.

On February 17, 2023, Dr. Kluger did an adrenalectomy, which was cancer, on my wife of 47 years at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia. I know of no better review to leave for a doctor in that he saved her life!

Our visit today was with such mixed emotions. We were met with Dr Kluger’s wonderful staff and with Dr Kluger. He explained in layman’s terms exactly what was going on with John pancreatic cancer and gave John his options and suggestions. We live upstate and we’re very pleased that Dr Kluger is very familiar with Johns Gastro and oncologist. We left his office feeling a lot better and now John will wait to get this new journey moving full steam ahead!

Dr. Kluger has a wonderful bedside manner. He explains in depth your condition both verbally and by bringing your test results up on the computer and visually showing you what is going on. This definitely helped me understand my situation much better. He takes the time to answer all your questions and not give you the general b.s. that some doctors tell you. No rushing you out so he can get on to next patient. I would highly recommend him.

I met Dr. Kluger for the first time today. He was very helpful in explaining what was going on with my health, what the surgery to fix it will entail and how I will feel afterwards. I find it very important that a Dr is honest in regards to all aspects of your healthcare, and I felt Dr Kluger did just that!

I signed myself out of a Staten Island hospital after I was diagnosed with the worse form of Pancreatitis. I realized they couldn't handle my problem. Made an appointment with Dr. Kluger in 2 days. I needed my pancreas removed but after the surgery I developed some very serious and life ending complications. Long story short he saved my life. Dr. Kluger is a extremely skilled surgeon , listens to your questions and explains everything in great detail. I highly recommend him to all.

Of course the most difficult aspect in finding a surgeon to perform the most complex pancreatic surgery is deciding upon someone who is not only highly skilled but someone you can develop a MUTUAL TRUST relationship. We as a family had the good fortune to choose Dr. Kruger. Our experience was highly competent, always a gentleman, listens to the patient and develops protocol based on these factors. We could not have been more pleased with he as a doctor and the outcome of his efforts.

Dr. Kluger is an expert surgeon who was instrumental in our 87 year old Dad’s fight for his life with cancer. Dr. Kluger made a determination that Dad’s gall bladder and 5% of his stomach had to be removed. After the surgery, he and his team made sure that all questions and concerns were addressed, and his dietary plan was implemented and modified to fit his needs. We are so grateful for his expertise and professionalism.
