Outstanding Surgeon
Dr. Korn performed wrist surgery in November 2024. After only three months, my wrist is vastly improved, and my recovery has been amazing. I would recommend Dr. Korn and his highly professional staff at Henry Ford Lakeside.

Thumb Tendon Repair
Dr. Korn performed Extensor Tendon Repair surgery on my Right Thumb. Leading up to the surgery he exemplified the utmost professionalism and knowledge regarding the procedure. In addition, he explained his planned procedure in great detail, answered all my questions and provided additional information I needed to understand regarding postoperative recovery. This is a doctor who truly cares about his patients. I anticipate a long and promising career for this young man.

Dr. Korn is great!
I was hesitant at first because I assumed a newer doctor would not be experienced enough to treat my broken wrist. My assumption was wrong. Dr. Michael Korn presented me with all options which I don't believe I would have gotten otherwise. I have a complex health history and he took that into consideration. He was helpful, knowledgable, thorough, and kind. Lesson learned...don't make assumptions.

Dr. Korn took his time to explain to my 15 year old what was going on with his hand. He was amazing giving us a referral to a pediatric orthopedic doctor for his elbow as well. He was an outstanding provider that really cares about his patients.

Wonderful surgeon
My son suffered a boxer's fracture and Dr. Korn did a fantastic job throughout the process for surgical repair. He called my son to talk through the surgery and expectations after the initial visit, was calm and reassuring before and after surgery on the day of the procedure, worked to fit my son's follow ups in at a location and time convenient to us and could not have been more helpful during these visits. We never felt rushed, the discussions addressed all of our questions and the outcome based on yesterday's final visit is fantastic. My son's surgery went extremely well and he has regained full range of motion in his hand. We could not be more pleased with our entire experience and would recommend Dr. Korn to anyone needing orthopedic services.
