5 star DR and staff. answers all your questions. and recommends the best treatments. if you ever need a pulmonologist, or have any lung / respiratory issues, i recommend DR Layton as your 1st " Go To" Dr. He did a " extremely minimally invasive biopsy on me, that had zero complications or side effects, and before and after, explained everything very thoroughly, and answered all my questions, and he has a 5 star staff as well. i cannot recommend Dr Layton and staff highly enough. the words i have typed here dont do justice to the care you receive from Dr Layton and his staff.

Dr Layton is one of the most professional , smartest physicians that I know. He can relate well to patients so that you can clearly understand the "healthcare plan". While he is the one with the knowledge, he includes the patient in the plan of care.

Visited on Aug. 25th. The front office staff was courteous, pleasant and efficient. Dr. Layton examined me and took the time to answer all my questions no matter how trivial. He explained everything about my condition and made sure to schedule me for a follow-up exam to note my progress. I felt very lucky to get this appointment and have him as my doctor.

Dr. Michael & Dr. Mary Layton are two of the best husband & wife teams in all of Indian River County. Both are very trustworthy, honest, & most of all caring! So yes, I would very highly recommend both of them. It's a sad shame that Steward Medical Group of Sebastian did or said to the Laytons for them to leave after over 20 years.

I have recommended Dr Layton several times. I feel the reason I am writing this, is Dr Layton has kept me alive. His Office Staff has changed since he relocated. One positive move in his Office, was the addition of sraff membrr named Mary.

If you need a test he wants you. To only get it done at Sebastian hospital. When asked twice about going to another hospital as trouble breathing and weeks no appointment and not able to get test done. Tells me he cares more about hospital then patients. Sad.

So lucky to have found Dr Layton when I did. Very knowledgeable and patient with your problems. He probably saved my life by finding that another pulmonologist had the wrong diagnosis and medication. Dr Layton's guidance and expertise kept me from experiencing other complications of the medication. He also discovered that I have COPD and Sleep Apnea by setting up sleep studies. As I said he is thorough.
