Washington Gastroenterology Appointment
Most awkward appointment. Dr. came into room and said 'What can I do for you?' and then stared at me until I started to explain I had been referred as I had concerns that my age old hernia had gotten worse throughout my last 2 pregnancy's and my pain worsened after lifting loads of heavy gravel 6 months ago. Then seemed put off that I took to long explaining what was going on. Then basically told me he did he didn't care about the new pain from the heavy lifting because it couldn't have anything to do with my hernia, though lifting heavy things is what can cause hernias in the first place right? Seemed rushed and irritated that I wasn't explaining things in medical terms. When I mentioned care recommendations I had been given previously years ago to manage my discomfort he said 'Well I don't know about that,' but did not elaborate or make any other recommendations for care. Seemed to come down to that I've dealt with it for 15yrs so it's not that important.

The visit , what to expect
The visit with Dr. Lee : Rude, arrogant, rushed, felt unheard , disrespected, talked to a patient in a condescending manner, likes to use medical terms without simpler explanation, he declined the majority of my concerns and questions. He has a way of delivering facts that make a patient feel dismissed and unimportant. The visit was nauseating. I wish I knew I was seeing this guy beforehand, the other reviews were so spot on.Find someone who will listen to your concerns with care.

Don’t waste your time
Dr. Lee is very curt and dismissive. Appointment felt like cattle herding for endo/colonoscopies. Save time and find another provider who will listen.
