Dr. Michael Lopez-Molina, MD

He saved my husband's life when he had fungal pneumonia. Dr. Lopez did a biopsy followed by an emergency spinal tap to make sure it had not entered the blood. Luckily it did not and he treated it immediately. He worked in coordination with his infectious disease doctor as well.

Dr. Lopez has been great, came from another physician and his bedside manners are great. He always explains everything very well and always has a plan. I am very happy with and his office staff.

I am a physician and my wife was admitted with stroke symptoms at Morton plant. This doctor wanted to discharge her without making a final diagnosis and appropriate treatment. He didn't want to obtain a neurologist consult or an MRI which was recommended by the Emergency Physician. I am disturbed about the care she has received. He did finally order a neuro consult a day in and I'm sure they will eventually order an MRI but to the cost of an additional 2 days in the hospital with associated costs. This is NOT the standard of care. Very disappointed in the process at this "stroke center" and this physician.

Wasted time, visit & money On June 30th seeing Mr. Lopez who in which did not examine me all he did was ask me questions and go over my medication list & tell me to continue to take the same damn medication I have been taking for over 2 years. That was most horrible visit & horrible doctor I have ever experienced in my life Mr. Lopez was so bad he does not deserve to be called a doctor nor work for for the company. I wouldn’t take my dog to see him. I would not refer or recommend anyone to be seen at Bay Area Chest!!! Very Disappointed ??They don’t deserve a star period. That’s just how bad it was.
