help with foot
The doctor listened to my problems and my history (related to my foot) and ultimately said there was nothing he could suggest to help me that I hadn't already tried. While this was frustrating, I understand it. In the appt., I explained, and it's documented in my records, how I went from being an active person, to being completely sidelined from life as a result of this problem that doctors haven't been able to explain or remedy. I began to tear up in the appt. when he said he couldn't help me, but I composed myself. After the appt., I requested a temporary handicap pass, to allow me to do some minor things like go to church, go get a haircut. I was told the doctor would not approve this he didn't do a surgery on me, and I had no active fracture. I found this to be illogical, unless the doctor does not believe me about the level of pain and limitation. I am not someone seeking medication or disability coverage, only a temporary pass as I seek further help for this problem.

Lou
The listens well is a double edged sword. He only charts off of what you tell him. He has never weight me, but has me morbid obese. Tracks my weight loss from what I tell him along with diagnosing me with diabetes, that was caused by the steroid injections I've received while in his care. Mean time my GP and Oncologist have never diagnosed me with diabetes. Also in he's carts he never refers to anything that is of his own findings that he has diagnosed me for, just "she states". All i can say is run, if you can and find another opinion. I am doing so now, before it's to late.

Dismissive. Impersonal. Lazy. All around a terrible doctor. His Wake Forest profile says he treats Ehlers Danlos. So, I went to him hoping he could help me. No. He told me Joint Hypermobility Syndrome isn’t an actual diagnosis. He said that Hypermobility doesn’t cause pain. He dismissed my pain and didn’t care about anything else I was dealing with. He wasn’t even willing to do the Hypermobility assessment. I left my appointment, before he handed me my discharge paperwork, in tears. He simply shrugged his shoulders and said ok. WORST, most discouraging, incompetent physician.

This guy SUCKS. Terrible Doctor. As soon as he walked into the room he was rude and dismissive; seemed like he couldn't care less. Why are you a doctor!? I would possibly feel bad for him if his awfulness wasn't at his patients expense. It's almost like he enjoyed being terrible. Go to a different Orthopedic Surgeon, at all costs. The one positive review he has on here, sounds like he wrote it himself. You'll know what I mean if you meet him. Easy to schedule appt because no one wants go here

Rude. didn't even examine me. told me I had nerve damage from an x-ray, left me scared to death, at follow up, I dared to ask questions, and he got defensive, and refused to answer my questions. Then gave me some random diagnosis, which I found out later, when my records were seen by another High POint Regional dr. So horrible bedside manner!!!!!!!! Do not recommend at all. A chiropractor ended up treating my problem after 3 months of not being able to use my hand to write or eat!!!
