Horrible experience
Didn’t have my scan results, blamed the hospital, didn’t care to resolve or find out why. Very rude kept saying he was a neurologist I know, i was referred there for neuropathy. Examined me through clothing and a brace . Dr Mazowiecki told me to go to a pain clinic. I didn’t want pain medicine I was hoping for something that would improve my condition so I can continue to work and support my family. Very disappointing visit. I cant believe this standard practice of care.

New patient visit. He was very personable made me feel at ease. He explained a change in treatment, what the new drugs would do and the possibility of changes in my current status.

Dr. Mazowiecki treated my elderly mother for seizures and he was very professional, informative, and personal. He took the time to explain things to my mother so that she was able to understand. I am not happy that he left the practice and would like to know where he is. He also took care of my brother for Parkinson's disease and provided excellent care to a man who does not like doctors and explained the issues that my brother did not understand. Now my brother is looking for a new neurologist.

I have seen Dr. Mazowiecki three times since my stroke. He was very patient with me and very informative. I am very upset as I just found out he left Excela. I am afraid I won’t be able to locate him now.

I was sent to this doctor after a medical emergency that ended in me being taken to the hospital by ambulance. He told me to my face that there was, and I quote, "absolutely nothing wrong" with me. It turns out I had a bad concussion. The doctor who diagnosed it went as far as to tell me that I had all the classic signs and it was obvious by the symptoms I was having and how they were progressing that it was a concussion. This is proof positive that this doctor doesn't listen or care.

He really doesn't care or want to help. I left very confused. Ease of scheduling an appointment was because anyone who knows his reputation doesn't want to see him.

Dr. Mazowiecki was recommended to me by my former neurologist who left the area. He is a very competent and caring doctor. He explains things and takes the time to listen. I never wait long to see him.

Dr. Mazowiecki's office has, as of today, Wednesday, April 11, 2018, cancelled my 89-year old mother's appointment 3 times in the past year, this time with less than 24 hours notice. The office has no regard for their patient's time, or their relative health. Their conduct is unprofessional, dismissive and utterly inconsiderate. Dr. Mazowiecki expressed trustworthy competency the one time we met, 2.5 years ago, but his office, his staff and his P.A.s have absolutely no regard for their patients.

Dr. Maz is a top notch provider. He spends time discussing treatment options and explains them in plain English. It is very apparent that he reads his journals and stays on top current treatment plans and medications. Please make a distinction as you read some of the less favorable reviews as they are referring to the practice with which Dr. Maz was formerly associated. That practice was a complete mess and not patient focused. Dr. Maz knew that and moved on.

This practice is a joke. I tried to contact them concerning my mother who is a current patient that is now having an issue. I had to "leave a message" at the Somerset office. When they called her back, not only did she NOT get an appointment, they told her they had to call her back because they had to "check on something"....which she is still waiting for. They need to reevaluate how they their office is run. All you get is the run around. We are finding another neurologist.
