Dr. McEntire is a skilled physician. I just recently had an LP and quite honestly, had previously promised myself never to go through that procedure again due to a horrific previous experience. That being said, Dr. McEntire has renewed my faith in spinal taps, if that's even possible to say. I would refer anyone to Dr. McEntire!

It is not my experience with Dr. McEntire, but with one of his Dr. Assistants, I was assigned to after my second visit. It has been utterly horrible. On a scale of one to 10, I give him a 1. I was having withdrawal symptoms taking 1-and -half-tablets of 325/10 Norco Hydrocodone. I asked him to increase it to two tablets every six hours. Instead, he reduced the dose to 1 tablet every 5 hours. He has refused to adjust the dose. I have suffered the severe debilitating effects of withdrawal. Last night it got so bad, I fell in the hallway, and my children had to be called to come and pick me up. Still, he refuses to adjust my dose

Dr. McEntire has helped me several times on my chronic back pain. I have been going to him for years for shots. The first shot lasted 3 years. What a relief. Unfortunately, as I have aged the shots don't last as long so I now see him once a year. Dr McEntire is very professional and explains the procedure. He is very patient and kind and has saved me from surgery. He also has a great staff.

Dr. McEntire is an outstanding physician. He helped me greatly in dealing with my pain issues. Dr. McEntire is committed to helping his patients deal with severe levels of pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. McEntire to anyone looking at pain management.

He was very caring. When I mentioned that I felt the needle as he was going deeper, he promptly added more medication & I could no longer feel the needle. That is really important to me for the obvious reasons but I am needle phobic. I use to hyperventilate but I'm not that bad any more. I went to a different pain management physician. He & his assistant acted like I wasn't in the room. Dr. McEntire and his staff act like they are very concerned with my comfort.
