Dr. Michael Meininger, MD

Dr Meininger referred me to Cardiologist Andrew Weissman. He too is wonderful. I had tests which showed a cyst on liver. My internist was the dr who was supposed to tell me what to do with that. That dr would not call text or respond. So I called Dr Meininger. He looked up my scan. Called the radiologist at Englewood hospital to get his opinion. Then Dr Meininger called me to alleviate my concerns and tell me a plan moving forward. All of that was done within a 6 hour time frame. I feel fortunate that Dr Meininger is my doctor. I have some gastro and intestinal issues that he has treating for years. My husband and niece also use and respect him greatly. He is a special man who actually cares.

Amazing GI doctor! Has great bedside manners! Explains everything in plain language. Studies your case very thoroughly. He truly care for your overall well being!! Best GI doc I ever had! Highly recommend!

Dr. Meininger is caring, warm, professional and makes having a colonoscopy a bearable experience. He explains everything and puts you at ease.

What a great doctor he is! Even though his area of specialty is gastroenterology he always asks about other Medical issues I have because he feels everything is interrelated. He is always upbeat And nurturing. I wish I could use him for the other medical conditions I deal with

If you are looking for a good Gastroenterologist, you should see Dr. Meininger at the Gastroenterology Group of Northern NJ. He is absolutely one of my favorite doctors. He’s super nice, very comforting and is extremely smart. I had a colonoscopy/endoscopy last month and the entire process went smoothly. The staff are also really nice and very helpful!! Plan to stick with Dr. M and this group for many years to come!!

Just had a colonoscopy procedure with Dr. Meininger. He came in to speak with me before the procedure, what to expect. He remembered our 2 minute accidental meeting 3 weeks ago, that was impressive, since he see so many. He returned after the procedure to explain the results. He is quite professional and friendly with a great “bedside manner”. Thank you Dr.

When my husband was hospitalized and recovered, Dr. questioned the reports written at the hospital and was not convinced based on the terminology used in the reports. He ordered another test which proved his findings to be correct. He is a outstanding doctor and highly intelligent. We highly recommend him. A true doctor who questioned the science. I am eternally grateful.

Excellent doctor ,made me feel at ease ,I highly recommend!

First appointment. Arrived early; filled out all preliminary paperwork. Waited 45 minutes for 10AM appointment before leaving and getting co-pay refund. At 10:25, asked receptionist how far Dr. Meininger was running behind and was told she couldn't get an answer. Little respect and no communication or patents awaiting appointment.

Dr Meinenger is an excellent Gastroenterologist who explained the whole procedure to me before hand and took the extra time post procedure to plan a course of action to treat my condition. Thank you Dr. Meinenger.

Dr. Meininger has been mine and my families physician for about 2 years now. He has shown nothing but compassion and caring for me and I can not ask for a better doctor to treat me and my loved ones. The staff and nurses have accommodated every request that I have ever asked for. If it was not for him and his partners (that I have seen a few times as well when Dr. Meininger was away) I would have most certainly ended up very sick and in the hospital.
