This review is only for the experience of checking in with the front desk. I had my parents age 88 and 94 with me so my Mom could see one of the doctors. There was no “Hi or Welcome” when I walked up to checkin, but was handed paperwork where she talked so fast it was hard to keep up and then immediately asked for best number to contact when a room was ready. After giving her that my parents proceeded to sit down in the waiting room and she yelled “you can’t sit there, you have to wait in the car. Also only the patient is allowed in.” I told her I will not leave my Dad who has dementia in the car and I need to be with my Mom to help translate for her. She said “well go wait in the car till we call you”. When we came back in I was told my Dad can sit in the waiting room and I could go in with my Mom.The front desk being the first point of contact should be nice and welcoming and especially when older people are involved slow your speech down and treat them with respect. Too bad.

Dr. Miller is an AWESOME SURGEON! He performed a knee revision on my husband's right knee in September 2020, and his recovery has been absolutely spot on. My husband's range of motion in his knee even exceeded Dr. Miller's expectations. We highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone who may be considering a knee revision. Thank you Dr. Miller!

Dr. Miller revised a metal-on-metal total hip replacement in my left hip in 2013. I had complications (unknown for sure at the time) due to metal leaking into the joint. After the surgery, I had major breathing problems. No one knew why it happened, and I think it was pretty serious. Dr. Miller and his team kept me alive by all means necessary and I cannot thank them all enough for their heroic actions. It turns out I have extremely severe sleep apnea. None of us knew it at the time because I had never been diagnosed. Now I use a bi-pap machine every night. Thank you Dr. Miller for the tremendous job on my left hip revision and for keeping me alive when my body was working against me. You are the best!!

Just had my right knee replaced by Dr. Miller and he is fantastic, as a doctor and a wonderful person. My knee is great, I was walking without a walker on day 9 and driving on day 12! Not a hint of pain at all, without any meds. Could not be happier that Dr. Miller was recommended to me, with the comment he is the best doctor in Tucson, and I truly agree! This is not my first joint replacement, it is my 5th, so I am fully capable of judging what quality work is.

Dr. Miller is one of the best Orthopedic Doctors there could be. I had a severe injury that other Dr.s wanted to amputate my leg, Dr. Miller was able to save my leg with a knee replacement and knee reconstruction. He is a very kind and compassionate man unlike many of the Doctor's practicing today.

I have never met an orthopedic surgeon like Dr Miller. My experience in New York has been a lesson in arrogance and dismissive behaviors , which caused me to be walking around with a loose and extremely painful knee replacement. DrMiller has recently performed a revision and he is the polar opposite of the arrogant orthopedist. He is caring, honest, warming reassuring. I’ve not met another physician like him.

I was severely injured falling from a ladder, with tib-fib fractures just below the knee. I was seen by a different orthopedist in Tucson, but developed an infection from hardware placed in my knee. The infection was very persistent and required extended hospitalization and physical therapy. After 4 surgeries and 18 months in a wheelchair, my leg was not healing and I was referred to Dr Miller for further treatment. In 6-7 months, I was infection-free and have a functional knee.

I had a total knee replacement done by Dr. Miller back in 2013 (I think) and Dr. Miller is the epitome of professionalism. He had a fantastic plan to manage the knee replacement and that includes pain control. I couldn't have asked for a better surgical experience.

One of the best doctors I have encountered. He has excellent bedside manners, and takes time with each patient making each feel as they are the only one in his practice. Dr Miller has treated 4 of my family member plus many friends who all say he is the best. If you had knee surgery before from other doctors and need your knees repaired, see Dr. Miller and he will clean up all the other doctors mess. He also has to PA's that assist him in his practice, and they too are very knowledgeable.

Dr. Miller is a wonderful doctor, very personable. Listens to your concerns, explains your options and makes you feel he understands how you feel and reassures you he will be there for you all the way. He's professional as is his staff. This was my second hip replacement but my first time with Dr. Miller. My first time was with a well recommended surgeon, but the results were far less satisfactory. DR. MILLER corrected my leg length along with the hip replacement and the results were wonderful!

Dr. Miller is a rare breed as far as Doctors go. He listens, explains and then helps you make an informed decision best for you and not him. He is never condescending or abrupt. He has done two knee surgeries on me and I have not any complications. I trust him implicitly and without question. The only drawback is with his great reputation, you sometimes have to wait for an appointment.
